Outside the old town but very close. A lot restaurant close by not all for tourist. So is great to be out of the circuit. Great view from the room. Breakfast varied enough for a four day stay

Location was excellent perfect shopping, transit, walking. Very clean, tidy and excellent service. Breakfast was a huge spread to meet many tastes.
Seemed like shower drain was a little backed up I’m assuming with shampoo and whatever else makes it down there. Wouldn’t keep up with the water flow.

From checking in to leaving everyone was very friendly.
We were upgraded to a front twin room which was a nice surprise. Everything was spotless and clean.
The room was warm and the kettle and small cakes went down very nicely.
Breakfast was enjoyable and plenty of choice, however my husband didn't like the scrambled eggs. Drinks out of machines are never as nice as fresh, but overall a decent breakfast.

Location is perfect, - just right at the entrance to the old city. Nice sea view from the balcony

No parking, drove around for 10 minutes each time to look for parking, and walked 5 minutes back to the hotel. (They do offer a valet parking service but I didn't want to use it.
Not enough variety of vegetables and salads at breakfast.

Good location, close to the city. The breakfast was good. They arranged 1 hour (14:00) earlier check in.
The room was small and wasn't cleaned well, as soon as we arrived we found hair in the bathroom and on the table. TV was very small and old, not convenient at all.
Veranda was big but you can't use it, no cover so sun all day, not comfortable metal chairs and we couldn't even open the window as the ventilation of the kitchen was on our balcony, it was smelling.
The shower was the worst I ever experienced. Small shower, the water was spilling in all the bathroom as there was no door or cover so everything was wet, also the water pressure was not enough and the shower head didn't work well.
The lift was old and small but we used it as we were staying on the 5th floor.
On the first day we were stuck in the lift for 5 minutes, as soon as we got out, we informed the reception about the problem with the lift, the response we got: ''if it happens one more time, will call the technician''. After their response, we started using the stairs but it was slippery and almost felled.
The next day hesitated we decided to use again the lift and were stuck again for around 20 minutes until the technician came.
We understand that it can happen once but you should take action to fix it so it doesn't happen again, and after we were ignored, and the second time happened, instead of apologies, the receptionist told us that: ''good that everything is okay and you are lucky that got fast out on a Sunday as the technician doesn't work today''.
Not worth the money, it is good that we had a reservation at another hotel for the next days, which for the same price per night, everything was amazing!

This is a centrally located Hotel on 1866 ('Taxi') Square. The Harbour and 'Old Town' are a just few minutes walk. I have been using the Arkardi for many years. It's main 'plus', apart from location, are the really helpful Reception staff. I will be back!!

Breakfast was indeed wonderful, both in terms of options and quality.
Location is amazing, literally in the heart of the city. Everything is within walking distance.
There was some traffic noise due to being in the city center on Friday and Saturday nights, although to be fair, that’s beyond the Hotel’s control.

The location is great! Right in the city center, above the central market, with a great city view!
You can feel and take in the city vibe, and it gives you the mood to go out and have a drink!
We loved the cleaning service, which is great, the staff, the breakfast (had a lot of classics such as eggs, omlette, cheese, ham, bacon, and also specialties like cheese pie, salads, grilled vegetables, Greek sweets, Greek yogurt and more).
The mattress and pillow are super comfy, the AC is smooth, and you can control the levels of cooling. Ah yeah, and the hotel design, branding and anesthetics are just exquisite!
We loved everything!

Exceptional breakfast, diverse food, fresh fruit, good coffee. Location is excellent, in front of a park that borders the main tourist area. Everything is close, and the room is very quiet.
There is no door in the shower so we had to pay extra attention to not get the floors to wet, but that's only a minor inconvenience and the floor towel was always replaced.

The location of the hotel is amazing. The hotel is very clean, recently renovated. Breakfast is not of a huge variety, but was delicious and plenty. Our room had a great view towards Chania's old town and the sea. We'll certainly be back! No parking, but apparently they have an agreement with a hotel next door and we had no problem with parking our car.
