The hotel has great facilities. The rooftop restaurant and pool have exceptional views (including the Acropolis). Breakfast choices were plentiful, and the restaurant and bar have a great selection. In late May, there were enough sunbeds by the pool but this might be different in the summer. Room and bathroom were modern and clean.
The location has pros and cons. The hotel is literally next to the metro station which makes getting to the main sights easy. However, some of the neighboring street are a bit "sketchy" so be mindful walking around. With that being said, we never felt unsafe. No issues in or on the metro.

Location was in what seems like a questionable neighborhood. The power went off a few times on my fist night there. I was told it was a municipal power issue, but I saw staff looking into the mechanical room, so I don’t know.

We like the selection of the breakfast. Only problem we had was for 2 consecutive days, the 3 coffee machines were broken and was not able to be repaired at the time we are having our breakfast and we didnt have the time to wait it out as we have excursion schedule and would not want to be late. Otherwise, the breakfast is great.
If they can have back up coffee dispensers as the fancy coffee makers were not working properly and it had to happen all at the same time during breakfast.

roof top restaurant was a very bad experience, despite it wasnt busy, waited for a salad for 1 hour, reminded several times, and nobody seemd to care about it, also its not allowed to order from outside, you may end up hungry there all day long

Location is very convenient and the rooftop pool is nice.
Our room was not up to par. The hotel shower was just a hand held handle that wet the entire bathroom as there were no door or curtain. The toilet was right next to the shower. It was the worst bathroom ever.

The staff was wonderful and responsive. We were upgraded to a suite which was very comfortable. The pool area was great, as was the breakfast. The metro station was right outside the hotel.
We were told by several guides and a taxi driver that the area was not the safest. However we had no issues.

Amazing rooftop views, super friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms.
Our room was just below the restaurant. We went to bed early to have an early start but were woken up each night from the chairs being moved around when the restaurant closed.
When my wife and I were alone in our room a maid walked in on us when we had not requested one. We had even just read that maids won’t be sent unless you request one.

Beautiful property and amenities.
My only criticism is that soap and lotion holders in the room were not attached to the wall. It makes the property look tacky and in poor maintenance which is not true. I enjoyed my stay there.

Had a great stay at The Stanley Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, while the staff was friendly and always helpful. The breakfast had a wide variety of fresh and tasty options. One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop pool and restaurant with an amazing view over Athens, especially at sunset. The location is also very convenient, close to the metro and within easy reach of the main attractions. Overall, an excellent choice for a stay in Athens — highly recommended!

Friendly staff, spacious and renovated rooms, very comfortable bed, and very clean.
Location was okay, 15 minute walk to the city center.
Slow elevators.
No shower curtains or cabin around the shower in the bathroom so everything got wet when showering. This is quite unusual, especially since we had upgraded rooms.

The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've experienced. The rooftop pool and cafe made it feel like we were at a resort. Great view of the Acropolis both day and night. The close location to the Metra made getting around very easy.
The sleeping room was very sparse. No place to store clothing other than hangers. We couldn't unpack, so we basically lived out of open suitcases for three days. It didn't match the quality of the shared amenity areas.
