Excellent hotel in a great area. It was easy to walk to the Parthenon and other ruins. There are so many great resturants nearby. The hotels resturant is also great for dinner. The views are amazing! The breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff is wonderful!

We stayed in room 708 and the view was beyond compare. The staff was very friendly, professional and efficient. We had dinner and breakfast at the roof top restaurant. The food was delicious and the service excellent. It is about a 5 minute walk to the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum down a very safe street. There are lots of gift shops and restaurants etc along the way. We would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet and rooftop restaurant were great.
Room was a decent size, and was clean and comfortable.
We are older and short people. The bathtub was very high, deep, and slippery. It was almost impossible to get in and out of the tub to take a shower safely. Even putting a towel down to stand on, without a grab bar, it was difficult.

The elevators were very small, you couldn’t get more than 2 people in them with about 1 suitcase pr person. They also were very slow moving

The hotel was very accommodating to me as I got there before check in and had to wait some time after check out before I could leave. They referred me to a wonderful local restaurant called Arcadia. The area is very walkable.
Breakfast was a bit weak. But the views are great. Also, the bath tub was so high that I injured my knee getting out of it.

The location was perfect, it was walking distance to all of the sites we wanted to see. The rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of the Acropolis. The room was great, very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would 100% recommend this hotel!

I loved the location of the hotel to the Acropolis! We were only staying in Athens for two nights and location was perfect. It was a short walk to the market in Plaka.
I also loved the rooftop restaurant and bar. The breakfast was fantastic and the views were spectacular especially at nighttime.

Perfect Location with Spectacular Views
The Athens Gate Hotel has the perfect location, within walking distance of the Acropolis and surrounded by excellent restaurants and shops. The rooftop bar is a highlight, offering some of the best and most spectacular views of Athens. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in the city.

The views of the Temple of Zeus form our room and of the Acropolis from the Rooftop Restaurant are unbeatable! The room was very clean and well maintained. The temple of Zeus across the street, and the Acropolis, Parthenon and Plaka within walking distance make this an awesome location. Very friendly staff in all areas too.
Our room was not very large, but this is a minor inconvenience, considering all the advantages of this boutique hotel. And, everything was spotless!

Check-in was smooth and staff very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Convenient location; close (walking distance) to a variety of sights. Dinner on the roof top was fabulous with a lovely evening view of the Parthenon.
Our room was on the street side and a bit noisy at night. My husband did not sleep well.
