Unfortunately, we were at O&B unexpectedly. We had to cut our vacation short due to our daughter getting sick on the trip. O&B sounded like a good place for a night until we got our plane home the next day. We could not have picked a better place. The manager and front desk person could not have been more helpful, caring and compassionate. After seeing my daughter, they suggested and arranged a doctor to come to the hotel to be sure she was ok to travel for the 11 hour flight the next day. They also got her a great sandwich since she had not had much to eat.
The location of this hotel is awesome. While the room is somewhat small and the bathroom smaller, the view out the picture window could not be beat. We saw the Parthenon on the Acropolis all night long. It took the stress out of a long night. The room was very clean and breakfast was not lacking.

Wonderful
We had a wonderful stay at the O&B Athens Boutique Hotel. The hotel is just a short walk away from all the central locations, including Monastiraki Square, Monastiraki Metro Station (with a direct connection to the airport), and the Flea Market, which made getting around incredibly convenient.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Amanda for her useful tips and recommendations. At check-in, we were provided with a list of nearby restaurants and traven suggestions, all of which turned out to be excellent.
Breakfast was very enjoyable, with a great selection of both hot and cold options. The hotel itself was not too busy, which made for a peaceful and relaxing experience—no noise or waiting around.
Overall, it’s a small, well-run hotel that delivers a high level of service. I would highly recommend it.
We stayed in suit and the second bed is too small for a teenager, perhaps that can be improved a bit.

Wonderful
The location was perfect. All the major sites were walkable from the location. The entrance to the Agora just ten minutes away. A pretty walk to the Acropolis museum and the acropolis. Great restaurants just minutes away.
Really nothing. Our heat wasn’t functioning but the staff made a perfect accommodation.

Wonderful
We stayed at this hotel for two nights (20-22/3/26)as a family of four, and we had a truly wonderful experience.
First of all, the location is perfect—just a very short walking distance to the heart of the city, including the famous Monastiraki area. It made exploring Athens incredibly easy and enjoyable.
The room was spacious enough and very comfortable, especially considering we were traveling as a family. Everything was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully prepared for our stay.
What truly made our experience exceptional, however, was the staff. Giannis and Alexandra were absolutely fantastic—always positive, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. No matter what we asked, they responded with genuine kindness, a big smile, and a willingness to assist. We also met another gentleman during check-out whose name I unfortunately forgot, but he was just as friendly and professional.
I even had a long and pleasant conversation with Giannis—he is such a kind and warm person, and interactions like that really made our stay memorable.
This was our first trip to Athens, and we loved everything about the city—the atmosphere, the people, and the overall experience. Staying at this hotel played a big part in that.
I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Athens.
There is nothing to complain, to be honest.

We had a great view from our balcony, lots of room, and it was an easy walk to Plaka, Psyrri, Monastiraki, and the Acropolis. Breakfast was excellent! Loved the staff! Just ideal!
There were little maintenance issues like the blinds in the main room could use repair. Other than that it was excellent!

Loved the cleanliness of everything. Staff super kind and helpful. Breakfast was great! Good location in Athens.
Everything was great. Bathroom had a strange setup in terms of putting things over the sink at a lower stage but that isnt necessarily bad.

Exceptional
We got to the hotel at 8am with a 3pm check in time. They were very gracious, offering coffee and seating in air conditioning while we waited. Or we could shop around and walk and they would store our luggage. We opted to walk and eat and shop. They took plenty of time to explain all the recommendations we could want and point us in appropriate directions for sites. They answered every question thoroughly and were kind, helpful and patient. Rooms were exceptionally clean with nice AC. Ours wasn't working initially but it was fixed by the time we came back with no delay at check in and no room changes. The bathroom was also cleaned, services often and well without disturbance of our things. They even offered a small snack and drink in our room along with two bottles of cold water in the fridge. The room was incredibly quiet even though we were in a city center. It is in a vintage district so even though some may perceive it as run down, we didn't think that way. We saw the neighborhood as authentic and charming. Everyone was nice and we always felt safe. Breakfast was big and lots of options. The coffee was especially good.
No complaints! The AC didn't work in our room initially but they fixed it within hours while we were away. We returned from a hot day hiking through the city to a cool room that was very enjoyable!
