Wonderful
The rooms and hotel itself was fine. The room was clean and spacious.
The location of he hotel. It?s apparently in a very bad neighborhood. I didn?t see the previous reviews and we made a mistake of walking to the right as we stepped outside. And all the druggies were there. Quite scary.

Disappointing
The hotel facilities are lovely, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Booking and check-in were easy. If you are going to Athens and plan to spend a lot of time in your hotel, this is definitely the place to stay!
Unfortunately, the area surrounding the hotel is horrible. When we arrived in the taxi, the driver felt it necessary to warn us (in his limited English) that the area is not safe. Not only does it look horrible, there are people using drugs in the open during the daytime. Females should be particularly cautious, especially at night. I was traveling with a woman, and we had to relocate due to her feeling unsafe. Honestly, this is the only problem with this hotel.

first visit was really nice although staff not so helpful. second visit staff more helpful ..nice room but the shower was a nightmare called reception as i had no water.. member of staff sounded quite rude although I think it was language problem however, shortly after staff member came to my room with two bottles of water which wasnt what i communicated to the member of staff on phone it was a problem with the shower and not having any water. The staff member came in and went onto a tablet and keyed in a few things then showed me the shower working. Although the staff member was very polite at no time was I shown or explained why there was no water to my horrow and the next morning I was leaving the hotel for airport again i had no water. I had no time for all the bother again and for a Hotel to have no water very very poor I certainly wouldnt recommend.

Very clean and modern room. Good air con and comfortable bed. Easy walking distance to trains, shops and tourist attractions.Friendly staff that kindly accommodated an early check in.
Just be mindful that Omonia isn't the best suburb in Athens. Fine to walk around at night in my opinion until midnight but I would probably use a taxi after that.
