Located at the foot of the Acropolis, Herodion Hotel offers elegantly decorated air-conditioned rooms. It has a beautiful roof garden with sun loungers and 2 hot tubs boasting spectacular views over Athens. The modern rooms feature light wood furnishings and parquet floors. Friendly staff, great location on the doorstep of the Acropolis.
We heard the music of the roof top bar in our room on the fourth floor quite loudly. The hotel offered us a room on the lower floors but we didn't move. On other days we were out until 10pm and the music stopped soon after, but the bar would stay open until midnight in the high season.

The location was brilliant. It was clean and the staff were great. The view from the top bar was astounding. It was the perfect introduction to Athens. We loved our stay

The location is very close to the Acropolis. Breakfast had some local products (olives, cheese, yogurt) and pastries but was always very busy. Staff was very nice and courteous, ready to provide info and help.
Rooms are very small, bathrooms can only accommodate one person at the time. Everything is a bit crammed together. The breakfast was always very busy and rather loud as the room is very small. Would be nice if the breakfast area was extended towards the bar of the hotel. The hotel blocked a guarantee on my card and it took more than a week to have the money released. The hotel should release any amounts immediately upon check out.

Staff very hepfull and friendly No complaints would definitely return and recommend to friends. Room quite smallbut we knew thatwe booked last minute and appeared to be the last room We had been recommended to the hotel by friendsand it was a perfect spot to stayin Athens for a few days.

The lobby was nice and bright. The bar/ lounge is gorgeous.
I found the room decor very lacking. At least put up some pictures. Perhaps some black and white pics of the Partheon. Don't get a room on the 4th floor. It's next to the roof bar and it's very noisy.

Great location that was close to the Acropolis museum, restaurants, coffee shop, wine etc. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Overall couldnt have been happier.
