We had a very good stay at Athens Cypria Hotel.
The location is excellent, just one block from the pedestrian shopping area and within walking distance of all the main attractions in Athens. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Solving luggage and transfers for us.
The rooms are basic but comfortable, clean, and perfectly adequate for a city trip.
The breakfast offers a good variety of options, although the quite noisy.
The highlight of the hotel is definitely the rooftop terrace, which offers incredible views of the Acropolis and Athens, especially at sunset.
As a bonus, there is a fantastic coffee and pastry shop right across the street (Choureal), famous for its delicious profiteroles.
Overall, a great choice for anyone looking for an excellent location, friendly service, and amazing views in the heart of Athens. ??✨

The location was great, in the middle of everything. The staff were great. The bellhop from the evening time were great, I forgot to get their names. Adreas in the morning was great too; he made sure we had the right taxi and put in all the suitcases etc. himself, very friendly and welcoming. The toiletries were great. The room was also a good size.
I was expecting more from the breakfast. It was very basic. Based on other reviews, I thought there would be more quantity and quality, but the coffee was good. The elevator was very small, so it was hard to get all of our suitcases to go up and down with us, so was very thankful for the bellhops! The A/C was central, so we had to call the front desk to adjust it.

The location was great
The room didn’t have a proper window, and we couldn’t open it as it faced directly into a shaft, which made the room feel closed and uncomfortable.
I was with my kid and it was not good experience.

First time when I arrived by taxi, it was a hotel was in the narrow street even a taxi possibly stopped front of hotel. When we asked a hotel front person saying go out and turn left and again turn left we will see restaurant. It wasn’t a good restaurant. Hotel adversities view of Acropolis from 7th floor bar. Later we went up there I could see really good view of Acropolis without any disturbances. Next day when we were left for Aegina island I found out location of hotel was great as I didn’t expect when I made a reservation. This time we turn right to get to the subway, the street we were on was main shopping area, Polaka was about 5 minutes away after dinner we strolled around polaka area .still there were people but much less. This hotel is located really good, in such a narrow street there are Mexican restaurant, pharmacy, cafe, etc crossed the hotel. Without paying so much money, I think this is good value hotel

Thé location and rooftop view were the only good things.
The room was awful. Absolutely no air and one window that opened to a concrete interior. I was claustrophobic. The bed moved constantly and there was no room to put our suitcases. I could not wait to check out

Loved everything about this hotel. I’m an international tour guide and chose this place for my group. They loved it!
Eliminating the fragrance in the lobby. So many people are highly sensitive to synthetic fragrances. This has become a more and more common practice for hotels all over.

Location!!!The hotel roof offers a surprising view of the Acropolis. Very central. We could reach all the attractions on foot. Good restaurants within a short walk. The staff was attentive and helpful.
Room maintenance (324) could be better. Loud noises when a nearby room took a shower( at 2 am!) or flushed the toilet.
