Arion Athens Hotel is a modern, city center hotel, a 2-minute walk from Monastiraki Metro Station and a minute walk from Psiri. It features bright, stylish rooms and a rooftop garden with stunning Acropolis view. The 3-star hotel offers contemporary rooms with luxurious marble bathrooms, wooden floors, doubled-glazed, soundproofed windows and fire doors. The location and the terrace
Prices too high compared to services. The (glass) bathroom door does not even close. Staff courteous but as soon as we had a problem, they were not helpful, not even the hotel manager.

Excellent location in central Athens. Breakfast good, staff friendly and helpful.
Room ok but rather small. Bathroom not enough room to store/spread out washing & shaving things etc.

Breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect for visiting the most important toursits sites.
Every day our beds were returned to the initial place, which is very close. We were with my friend so we had to move our beds every evening apart before going to bed.

Location and breakfast are ok - still not worth the value charged, too expensive for what it is. Breakfast staff (women) were nice.
My husband and I went for a one week stay. - Front desk staff was very inconvenient with us, asking us for the hotel payment I had already paid online via booking days before we even arrived - watch out, even though booking says your card will be charged prior to your stay, it will not - since I had a payment confirmation (have multiple screenshots of it), I left for work and my husband was called at least 5 times, I received two rude emails saying they would kick us out, hotel cancelled the card that lets us enter the room, leaving us locked outside, unbelievable! - when I asked if they changed the setting to make this clear on booking they said they wouldnt, go figure - Bathroom has no curtain, glass is broken so bathroom got soaking wet. - Every night a strong cigarette smell would come in, we believe from the ventilation system, hard to breathe in the room.

Very clean room and communal areas. My bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was usual buffet style, the waiting staff were attentive. The location initially appeared in a run down area but in the evening it was bustling with people . After I got used to the area I was pleased to be so central to a lot of the sights that were close by.
I paid for a room with a view of the acropolis, I was in room 507, I was disappointed that the view was partially obstructed by another building and it's hot water boiler system on top. It would have been helpful for the hotel information when I was booking to have advised that the view was partial. So in answer to the next question I have to say the hotel didn't meet my expectations. Overall I was very satisfied of the hotel and staff.

The rooms were very clean. The employees are very kind and hardworking. Our towels and sheets were changed every day. The breakfasts had a wide variety and everything was fresh and delicious every day. The roof view is magnificent and you can watch the view while drinking your coffee. The location of the hotel is central, 3 minutes walking distance to Monastiraki metro. It is also within walking distance of most touristic places.
