The staff is INCREDIBLE. This hotel is so busy, and the staff is kept more busy throughout the day. Even if theyre tired they always do their best to help you out. The location and the views are perfect. Close by everything youd need as a tourist in Athens! Also you get to use the rooftop without having to pay to 50 mandatory since youre a guest!
Since this location is busy, and the hotel isnt really soundproof be ready to hear noise all night. From fellow travellers coming in and out to party goers in the streets. Be ready to bring REALLY good ear plugs, and a sound machine if you can (if youre a light sleeper)

The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect! Room was spacious with a lovely view of the Acropolis. We also enjoyed having drinks at the rooftop bar.

The location was outstanding. It is steps away from the Metro & train station, within walking distance of the Acropolis & many historical sites, and in the middle of Athen's premier shopping & restaurants districts.The staff was very professional and provided great customer service. The rooms, restaurants & bar were all great.
There are numerous rooftop bars extremely close to A for Athens & one at the hotel as well. These bars play extremely loud techno noise until 2:00 - 3:00 AM every day. It is not music. It is synthesized repetitive noise that makes it impossible to sleep until after the noise stops. All the rooms at A for Athens are bombarded with this noise from various sources, including the adjacent square. This is highly disruptive, and it diminishes the great location, outstanding facility & outstanding customer service. However, if you love the techno synthesized noise scene and plan to stay out until after 2:00 AM every morning, this is the perfect place for you.
