Regards breakfast and food in general, Mr T and Sonya were fantastic cooks who prepared a lovely continental spread for us daily. They also offer cooked breakfasts as well. Furthermore the times of finishing breakfast dont really apply and they will continue to cook way past this time. Mr T's scrambled eggs were some of the best I have eaten.
The evening meals were out of this world cooked to order and taste wise you could ask for more. Again the staff went out of their way to accomodate our requests.
Accomodation was superb, location again superb.
I also have to mention the other staff here. Mr Bibi, Amal, Nday and Caba. They are a fantastic team and made our stay super special.
Paula the manager/Director of the place is also super friendly and runs a very tight ship.
We will be returning here without doubt that yet again we will experience the most friendliest of welcome and most enjoyable stay.
There was nothing we didnt like.....this was the perfect location for our 2 week stay in the Gambia.

Owner, Richard, was extremely welcoming, courteous and generous with his time. All staff very helpful and knowledgeable about local area. Excellent location, with access to beautiful beach. Hotel itself is really very laid out, spacious and comfortable. Food was excellent. Outdoor area with pool is perfect for relaxing. Couldn't recommend highly enough

The cooked breakfast consisted of egg made to your liking, sausages and beans. However, the Chef was accommodating if you wished to have it made differently. There was cereal, milk, tea, coffee and juice as well as fresh fruit -melon and papaya. The breakfast table also served as a pool table which was made available after breakfast time. We stayed in twin beds. Air conditioning was available to use. The water from the shower was always hot. The pool was available and towels were provided for the sun beds. Football was always on the TV - so the entertainment was just that but it was fine.
The TV in our room was not set up and although we received a cable box, we were unable to watch the TV due to the low signal. There was a fridge but it was not plugged in and we had to ask for this to be turned on, of which took some days to do. The view was the back end of the hotel whereby all we could see was barbed wire and hanged out washing. I was also unsure if others could see into our room had they been looking out of their window. There was a kettle in our room but it had an european plug head and therefore did not fit the plugs in the room, so it couldnt be used and the choice of hot beverages in the room looked as though they had been there for some time. The shower was good, but perhap a hook or a shelf whereby guests could place their toiletries whilst in there.
The stairway to the beach was steep and on one day there was a person sitting at the end of the steps who did not move although we were able to cross over OK but it was a bit daunting at first.

Outside of the wonderful location, the team at the hotel are some of the most gracious and warmhearted people I’ve ever met. Always a delight to talk to, always happy to help and advice.
There isn’t an aspect of this hotel that requires improvement.

Breakfast was great.They had a good verity for vegetarians. The location was fine and very easy to around the city and 5 min walk to beach.
We had to be very percific due translation and had to repeat yourself clearly to be understood.

The staff is welcoming and professional. Sonia and Bibi are great people. Bibi prepared a very early breakfast for our early departure. The rooms are spacious. Very nice view!
Internet is unstable. Television signal was down. The staff made efforts to bring technicians to repair it.

Nice property, recently renovated or at least painted. Secure parking within the gate. Some nice decorative touches. Good AC and wifi. Restaurant and bar with billiards and darts. Nice pool. Access out the back to stairs down to oceanside. Friendly staff.
Quite expensive and doesn't take cards. Path down to waterfront is in disrepair and littered. "Partial ocean view" is highly euphemistic (see photo).
