The hotel is in a good location and is walkable to most of the sights of Gib and shops. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
It is too expensive for what it is. High prices that dont include a breakfast. Wouldnt stay again.

good location but the room was a mixed bag - bed comfy and room a decent size, but the floor had been repaired with filler by an amateur, someone had put the lock on the bathroom door on back to front (so you could lock someone in but they could not get out and they could not lock the door from the inside!) the aircon instructions did not make sense (and it turned off randomly even if you were in the room 'to save electricity') and there were no slippers or bath robes ( four star?) - we also had to ask twice to get a light bulb replaced - pool was very small indeed and the shallow end so shallow that you beached when trying to swim - a childrens' pool only - breakfast was typical UK three star lowest standard - we discovered that this is an AA four-star rating not an internationally rated four star, which explains all - not awful by any mean, and many may feel that the foregoing comments point to nothing seriously amiss, but this is certainly not a four star establishment by international standards anyway

Liked the view and it was a quiet room as requested.
We should have been given "do not disturb" sign to go on door as the maids kept knocking on the door in the morning.

The hotel was perfect. The staff were all very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay here again.

Dirty dishes in corridor next to room left for 24 hrs even though I complained, only two lifts for guests and staff - often long waits, Restaurant understaffed and food quality below expectation, poor quality coffee in breakfast area

Lovely hotel and excellent service. Great location for everything. Breakfast timings and offerings brilliant.
The staff are a credit to the management.
There was an issue with dinner one evening. The food was cold and generally poor quality. We believe this was due to a sudden influx of unplanned visitors or cruise ship staff and this should have been better planned or managed. However the staff did their best to manage this difficult situation.

Proximity to main street was ideal. Facilities were very comfortable with iron / ironing board, hairdryer, coffee machine etc all in the room and ready for use.
Service was very slow in the outside area both during the day and evening times.
