Pleasant
Ease of changing room about finding out it was both males and females in the dormitory which made me uncomfortable.
Mixed dormitory

Breakfast was delicious! The staff was very helpful and the dorm rooms were clean and comfortable. They have a great gift shop as well as a sewing class I recommend taking.

Tumi Hostel was comfortable and welcoming. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent! And the crafts for sale were perfect gifts. Met great people. Really enjoyed our stay.
The roosters are active, bring earplugs if you want to sleep past 6am!

I got a recommendation from some fellow travelers and booked the hostel without thinking too much about it. I was even more surprised what I found. A very cosy and welcoming place, cleaner than any other place I have been to, phenomenal staff, and super good food. The location seems a bit away from the city center, but that makes it save and quiet at night. On top this hostel is run by a program for women empowerment, much needed in Africa. An absolut surprise and I was bummed that I had set my travel plans to tight and couldn't stay longer. Not for Kumasi, for the hostel.
Nothing negative.

We stayed in one of their 3 double rooms. It was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinners were excellent, served on the communal table. Overall a great atmosphere! Exceptionally well ran hostel.

Wonderful
Helpful staff. Big room. Nice shop selling handcrafts. Quiet neighbourhood. Tasty food and breakfast.
Next door was a car wash and a church with loud evening service so the room was quite noisy. It was new year's eve so I would not expect it to be a problem every night of the year.

Very nice hostel. Well located in a relatively quiet neighbourhood, but still close to all the sights like the Kejetia market etc. The women's foundation connected to it is wonderul and you can buy amazing handmade items in the hostels shop. Breakfast was also nice and the communal dinner was definitely a plus. Will absolutely stay here again.

The place is in a good location, easy to find. It was clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was good. Plus they support a really good cause, an NGO for women and children.

Wonderful
Very clean and cute hostel/hotel with tons of charm and style. Big rooms and clean bathrooms. The offer lunch and dinner for which one has to sign up until a certain time. Breakfast was rudimentary but nice. There’s plenty of eateries and bars within walking distance.
The staff didn’t really seem engaged with the guests.
