Poor
My entire vacation was ruined by a corporate party right outside my window. I don't know anyone who would want to have that after paying almost $1,000 for a relaxing vacation.
The head manager doesn't show up to work on time and isn't interested in solving problems. Without him, my problem wouldn't have been solved.

Tang Palace is a great hotel in Accra and I would gladly stay again. Location is excellent - close to the airport and not far from downtown meeting places. Staff and service are outstanding. Breakfast is very good and the outdoor bar area around the pool is perfect unwinding with a beer and a cigar, and maybe a soccer match. Gym is small but adequate and across the street.
The wifi internet access was spotty. Be sure to have a local SIM or eSIM as back up.

The hotel is very beautifully built with great amenities. It has a luxurious feel to it. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is on par with other similar hotels. I loved the complimentary drinks.
I was charged slightly more than the total cost at booking. The explanation was that the exchange rates are different. It was only around $20 more so I did not make a big deal about it. Otherwise, I had a great experience there.

Breakfast was excellent and the location is very serene.
My favorite was how I was received the very minute I walked in. The reception was top class. Thank you Dorinda and Christabel

Fair
The hotel has a lovely smell, the decor was very classical. The location is good.
In comparison to other hotels that I've stayed in, in Accra this would have to be my least favourite. The hotel appears to be clean and nicely decorated but it lacks comfort. The Wi-Fi signal was quite low, the TV in the bedroom wasn't smart. There was no hot water running from the sink, the shower did dispense hot water, but the main shower head wasn't working, only the hand held part of the shower. The lady who checked us in, was reluctant to give us two room keys as she said the hotel was 'full' and there weren't many key cards left. I had to remind her that I am one of two adults staying in the room and we needed two room keys, I informed her that this is the first hotel I've ever stayed in, in Accra that didn't provide two rooms keys for two adult guests. The room keys are used to keep the electricity running in the bedrooms so this is perhaps the reason why, she was reluctant to give us a second key? As for the food, we went to the restaurant, the food was decent, however on the first trip to the restaurant one of us found a strand of hair in our food. The staff were apologetic and reduced our meal price. We did go for breakfast the next morning which was pleasant. The hotel is alright, but as paying customer I'd be looking to stay elsewhere for a place better suited to my personal needs.
