- Location
-Friendly and helpful owners
- Beds were very hard to sleep on... Extremely uncomfortable, they need to be changed. You could feel all the springs and it hurt.
- Very cold, we needed to ask for electric heater
- no kettle to make a tea
- extremely dirty, we get blankets that were stinky and had hairs on it... After saying that the owner changed them for clean ones
- very noisy, you could hear everything from the whole building, very thin walls

Bed was ok. Stuff was friendly.
I booked a Deluxe Bedroom with a size of about 15sm. It was announced to include a bathrobe, toiletry, a kitchenenette, air-condition, mountain view. The room I received had about 10sm (it contained the bed and little space left) and nothing else but a very basic bathroom without any extras and not even a shower cabin. Complaing to the staff the lady replied they wouldn't even have a room to offer as described above. She couldn't explain why they announce such anyway. Moreover she said they couldn't see what kind of a room was booked by which guest particularly. Pure lottery which room one might actually get. The only fact that comforts is, that the room rates are cheap and similar. One doesn't have much to lose!

Sit in the courtyard and watch the Shkhara mountain - I can do it all day!
The guesthouse provides basic but sufficient facility, can do laundry which is very imported after 3-4days hiking, location is kind of central among the 4 villages of Ushguli so it's easy to walk around.
The host lady is very friendly and helpful, and the jam offered in the breakfast are super!

The entrance to the hotel is repaired, difficult to find. When checking in, the hotel seems abandoned. Don't give importance to customers like they don't exist. The room is not soundproof. Not recommended. There should be another place to stay.

A very good location.
The difficulty of reaching the village was a talk that there was a termination on the road leading to the village, which made me know the other 10 hours of driving by car is supposed to be informed if there is a defect in the road.. In general, the

If you are looking for swanky accommodation, this is not the place for you. If you wish to experience how the locals live in Ushguli, this will tick that box. Our host Enisa ( hope that is right) and her son Jorge both spoke English and answered our many questions about the town and the life style. It was very much off season when we visited so very few places were open. Enisa organised dinner for us at her brothers place , just a short walk away. We asked for a small dinner and were served a huge meal. The food was traditional Georgian and superb. Jorge gave us a tour of the village the next morning and even took my husband up one of the towers. Ushguli was definitely a highlight on our trip round Georgia . Getting to the village was an experience in itself. 10 months of the year, there is only 1 way in and out and the road is in places quite bad but the scenery is spectacular and the people are warm and welcoming. Well worth the effort if you want authenticity
The accommodation is very basic but for me, it all added to the experience.. It was a bed for the night and a shower. The warmth of our hosts more than made up for the very simple room.

Nice view over Shkhara mountain and Svan towers from the window. Easily accessible parking. The lady who manages the place is very friendly and helpful.
On booking platform it's mentioned that the room has access to a shared kitchen. This is not true, but the lady at the reception provided me with cups/plates/cuttlery and hot water for tea whenever I needed.

Perfect view from the front of the house
Any window to outside, just to the corridor.
Mouses in the room
Locals don't care about guests at all. I have different expectations and experiences with guesthouse-type accommodation.
I chose this guesthouse based on the room photos. but the room was completely different from the photos, it was much smaller and not as nice as the photos.

Very Poor
The room considering the price was not bad although they only had twin beds and we book a double bed. There were no bedside lights, so we had to get out of bed & cross the freezing room to turn the light on/off. We had to ask twice to give us a heater.
The shower was not convenient - the whole bathroom got soaked each time. The towels were old and stained.
The breakfast was a rip-off, only cold stale bread (in a country that makes such delicious fresh bread this was a shock!) and no milk in a village surrounded by cows?!

We got a mobile heater because the room was cold.
Bathroom and toilet right next to each other. After showering the whole room is wet and won't dry for hours.
