The accommodations were lovely! Antonio was a fantastic host and made us very welcome. Great location near the old town. Very nice breakfast of fruit, yogurt, croissants, and of course a baguette. The shower was fantastic! The decor of the room was well thought out and quite interesting.
Off-season so the sitting room was a bit cool.

It was a real treat to spend two weeks at La Maison du Frêne, a jewel of a hotel situated in the heart of the picturesque town of Vence, with its maze of medieval streets and numerous cafés and restaurants. Our light and airy suite was spacious, extremely comfortable and furnished with panache.
What makes this hotel so memorable, however, is the level of care and attention given to guests. Each morning as our delicious breakfast was served our hosts went out of their way to help us plan our programme for the day, enthusiastically suggesting places to visit and providing helpful maps and leaflets. They showed a genuine interest in hearing where guests had been and how they had enjoyed themselves. The patrons listened with patience and encouragement to our faltering French and were happy to to continue the conversation in English when we became tongue-tied. They ordered taxis for us and were thoughtful enough to provide us with a bottle of wine to share with visiting family, as well as a parting gift as a souvenir of our stay.
A truly original, delightful, relaxing family-run hotel. Simply a must for anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Made to feel very welcome. Fantastic and quirky decor throughout hotel. Luxury breakfast experience and excellent location! Cannot fault a thing. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here. We definitely hope to return in the future.

Vence is a lovely friendly town and this hotel is right in its centre.
