La Tour Romaine is located 1.2 mi from Haguenau in the Alsace region. It offers en suite accommodations, a restaurant and garden. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Guests have access to free on-site parking. The reception is open Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for departures and from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. for arrivals. On Sunday, it's open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. for departures and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. for arrivals If you expect to arrive outside of check-in hours, please contact the hotel in advance in order to obtain the necessary entrance codes. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner from Monday to Thursday included, Friday only for lunchtime and open only upon reservation from Friday evening to Sunday evening. Reservation is highly recommended. Restaurant hours from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Pets are not allowed in the restaurant.

Wonderful
Room is very clean and comfortable. - Breakfasts are exceptional. Excellent. Served every day. - Excellent Dinners and lunches when offered (not every day; chart needs to be checked for mealtimes. I have been to this hotel a number of times. I first stayed there last year on the recommendation of one of my cousins who lives in the area. He celebrated his 80th birthday there with a huge party and incredibly good food. - The beds are very comfortable. (I am single; thus I do not know how a room for two or more people would be laid out). - One is truly treated like a guest of the house. - Also, there is a major nice shopping center (mostly food) quite close. - Free parking in a generous lot.
I cannot think of anything. If there is a problem, the staff is super-responsive and takes care of any potential issue right away. I did not find shampoo in the bath. I mentioned it and situation was remedied immediately.

I travel frequently. I felt like a queen at this hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and tried to anticipate what I might like or need. - The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food. The meals were excellent. The staff was super-friendly and helpful. The hotel is tightly managed, quiet, very clean and my stay there was very relaxing. There is a beautiful garden and a convenient parking lot. - A major shopping center is within a 5-minute drive.
The soap from a dispenser was probably designed as shampoo and body wash and for washing hands. Not fancy but perfectly adequate. - I found the mattress on the bed a bit hard.

Not even a drinking glass in the room. Paper cups, ohh my god. Went to the reception to ask friendly for real glasses and was scrubbed off. Finally went to the bar /restaurant and carefully asked the owner and was also brushed off. Then, when I said only paper cups in the room, he gave me to real glasses and he even cleaned them meticulously in front of me. WOW WIFI did not work in the room! I went to the reception and was brushed again., because the principles were having dinner. They rejected my complaint and said it was not their responsibility! Wow again! Later the male owner came to the room to check and admitted it was the hotels fault. We were asked to move to another room where the internet was fine! We booked the hotel for the praised restaurant and when we arrived we saw a notice saying' restaurant closed for seasonal closure of Xmas and New Year. But in the booking there was no such notice. So we had to take the car again after a very long journey to get there and being very exhausted to find some restaurant in the city. So bad! I would never go there again!!! And the DRAGON at the reception should learn that customers are normal people and they deserve to be treated with respect!
