I loved the bed, it was large and comfortable, and the room was warm, although some heat probably escaped through the window door.
The room was old. The staff took a long time to find the remote control for the TV. The door to the balcony had a bad seal, and the wind howled through the door all night so, it was impossible to sleep. You had to enter a code on the door to get in the evening. We arrived at around 10 pm and could not open the door. It turned out that we had been given an old code and were not told that a new one had been emailed to us. There were no emergency contact numbers outside. Only thanks to our friends, who knew the owners through their friends, we were able to solve the problem after an hour, but we spent an hour in the rain. In my mind, the hotel, which is organised based on an old villa, needs to be renovated long ago.

Parking in grounds of residence, rooms were comfortable and spacious, short walk into town centre, good communication about access arrangements
Breakfast was poor, I would stay here again but I would go elsewhere for breakfast.

A certain Fawlty Towers charm and must admire owners for their efforts, which should improve in time. Cute pool and large rooms.
Not told that restaurant was closed until few hours before arrival. Restaurant being rebuilt, so extraordinary not to warn us- we would certainly have cancelled and booked elsewhere.

Large comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom with great shower. Lovely antique decor.
Very stressful time trying to get them to send a code to enter the hotel as reception wasn't going to be open till 6.00pm. We were only told of this arrangement 2 days ahead. We were hiking so often without phone signal and also speak a little French but not too happy on the phone. Eventually they emailed me but only after me messaging twice and 4 attempts to phone. Food very average in restaurant.

The hotel is clearly quite old and there is a sense of faded grandeur. The gardens are beautiful and very well kept. communication prior to stay was prompt and efficient.
No staff on site during our stay, we knew the restaurant was closed but the bar was also closed so there was nowhere to get a drink other than to go down into town which was a 15 minute walk downhill. The mini fridge in the room contained only one large bottle of water and there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room but it would have been so nice to be able to get a drink and sit in the garden as it was a nice evening. Perhaps it would be a good idea to stock the mini fridge with a little more so that guests can enjoy the facilities when there are no staff on site?

The room was good, great spacious balcony and a comfortable bed. We also had a mini fridge in the room and plenty of towels, also for the pool. The pool was also very nice, well maintained and clean. The whole hotel has a nice and welcoming vibe. We'd definitely recommend! The staff were also very kind

The room was clean and comfortable with a small fridge and balcony.
The restaurant was closed in the evening but we had not been informed - this was one of our main criteria, after a long drive. The room was on the top floor so not ideal for a dog.

Good view from the room, which was very comfortable and well appointed. Easy to find, with a little help from the satnav, which was good for us as we had had a long drive that day. Dinner was excellent and we were looked after by a very busy, very attentive waiter who obviously took pride in his work. Good location for an evening stroll. Staff generally helpful and friendly.
Nothing to say here. There was nothing that would put us off staying again, should we be in the area.

Nice house, nice view from the balcony
-We were there just the day that the restaurant is closed and there was no staff on the property, we didn't see anyone until breakfast. All was ok, but it felt a bit weird. -WiFi not working properly, very weak signal on the room. -No table/desk on the room
