Wonderful
Lovely old property good parking and so close to ferry terminal, was the perfect overnight stay to end our holiday before catching our ferry home.
The house was beautiful outside and in and the gardens also. Breakfast was very good and set in a lovely room.
Would definitely stay again and would make stay longer. Would definitely recommend.
Arrived and rang bell but was not herd. Perhaps a bell/monitor to host would be handy. Host was very friendly and attentive when fount.
Would have liked some milk in room when we arrived but not a big issue.
Room was very good and clean we loved it.

Wonderful
Easy to find, it had parking and very accommodating in letting us have earlier breakfast.
No shower gel. A bit too far to walk into town, otherwise nothing to dislike.

Wonderful
The unique character of the manoir and how peaceful a place it was.
The shower could do with a visit from the local plumber, but it worked and provided hot water.

The hotel and the grounds were so beautiful - I dont know what I was expecting but I was blown away by how beautiful it was. Photos really dont do it justice. I took a video of our lovely room but it wont load for some reason. The host was so friendly and helpful - advising us of the best places to eat etc. Will definitely book again if in St Malo.
Bed was a little soft for us but thats because we are used to a hard mattress which I know is not everyones preference.

The hotel's atmosphere was amazing! The garden is beautiful. Unfortunately, we didn't use the pool because it was cold. The breakfast was tasty.

A big surprise! Located in a busy area but youd never know. Nice gardens and very amenable host. Very easy, and quick, drive to the ferry port.
Nothing, with possibly exception of lack of croissants at breakfast. To us the make a petit dejuener!

Very Good
Room and comfort of the bed and bathroom and the swimming pool.
We had a very short time for breakfast which we found disappointing. It was fine if you want cake and sliced bread for breakfast. We were hoping for croissants or french bread. We didnt like being woken up at 2.45 with people talking loudly outside our room. They continued despite us asking them to stop. They did eventually. Im assuming the owners didnt hear them.

Wonderful
Really lovely old building with individual rooms and nice antiques. A beautiful garden and lovely pool which was very welcome on a hot day. location looks bad when you first arrive but the road noise is nil in the Manoir. Benoit was a welcoming host with good English and the breakfast was excellent, only very minor point is the bathroom which was a shower head on the tap and no hook on the wall, but its quite nice to sit in the tub showering for a change. All in all one of the best hotels we have stayed in for years.
shower was a bit basic

Pleasant
The decorations were really interesting and well thought out with a mix of old and new. The rooms were really comfy with plenty of space and lovely comfortable beds, and the grounds were really beautiful.
The pool is open for 4 hours a day in 2 hour sessions which was a little frustrating for my kids who love to swim. Also we got locked out of the house in the middle of the day. You could ring an outdoor bell to alert people to your presence, but it was very windy when we were there so we weren't heard. Plus all the guests seemed to arrive for breakfast at the same time and there weren't enough tables so we went back to our room for 30 mins to wait for a space. Not huge inconveniences but with young kids it made it a little stressful. The location is perfect for easy access to St Malo which is a beautiful old town with lots to do however it is quite a walk, so expect to drive in for meals etc, as there aren't many restaurants local to the house.

Very comfortable room and extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast very good indeed too.
No problems at all other than a defective mains socket at the side of the bed which accommodates one of the bedside lights. We forgot to tell the owner on leaving so please pass this on to them. They were very helpful and I am sure they will repair it if told.
