The room was spotless. The towels/ linens were perfect. It was very quiet and we slept well. Several minutes to walk to train station. 20 minutes to walk downtown.

Good breakfast with fresh bread. Excellent location near the walled part of city and good restaurants & groceries.

Disappointing
Very narrow stairs that made difficult to take the luggage to the 2nd floor. Bathroom sink was cracked, and may pose a danger to children if breaks. Acars in the pillows and all over the room, mattresses were curved down in the middle.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. Continental breakfast was very good. Ker Annick is very well-placed for getting to the nearby rail station and there are a number of food outlets just around the corner for lunch or dinner.
The stairs to the rooms, but I was aware when I booked that this property did not have a lift, so not a surprise. Gave me a work-out without having to go to the gym :)

Location to the old town offered good value.

The hotel is situated in a quiet corner not far from the main port at St Malo. Our host was friendly and helpful on arrival, and having navigated the quaint staircase, the room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our brief stay.

Great location, 20mins walk from the old town, around the corner from a fantastic artisan boulangerie where we wasted a happy hour on Sat morning enjoying the steady stream of locals enjoy the same as we were, shower was great and beds very comfy.
Breakfast was around €7.50 each and good quality continental and starts at 7.30am so fine for early ferries.
The hotel was kind in taking our luggage at 9am when we arrived by ferry, and keeping it while we enjoyed the city.
The lady who runs it was frosty with little patience for our minimal French - we tried our best, smiles are free.
Also, because we arrived early and left our luggage, we stayed out all day and got a message late on to say the hotel closed at 9pm (which would have been an issue as we hadn’t been given a key). Luckily we got back in time and they had kindly put our key and bag in our room, but perhaps for future, let guests know that they have to be back by 9pm if they have no key.
If you have any mobility issues, the stairs are very steep.
