Room was very small but that was because it was in the old part of town. Location was wonderful. Breakfast was great. Owners were amazing. Incredibly helpful. Bed was very comfortable. An excellent place to stay.

Great location, great owner! Hotel new and modern, nice decorations. The owner was very kind and explained where to go and what to avoid; all the staff was nice. Wifi worked well, the shower was good, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious.
Not enough light. There are several lamps but they do not provide enough light. The atmosphere is romantic but you cannot study.

Really enjoyed our stay in the old city. The Hotel was spotless with lots of little decorating touches by the owners which made us feel right at home. Edward was a fantastic host & breakfast exceptional.

The location was perfect for staying in St-Malo. It was within walking distance of every restaurant and shop but on a street that was quiet with very little traffic. Still, the true star of this location is the hospitality offered by Edward and Aurelie. They are warm, friendly, helpful and they both have a tremendous knowledge of the area.

Le Nautilus had everything! Comfort, location, excellent hosts, and even cheap parking nearby! The building is 400 years old, but with completely modernized interiors. The hosts greet you at check-in and help you understand Saint Malo, with many honest suggestions regarding what to do and where to eat, and they serve you a glass of wine while they are at it!
As an observation, the building is 400 years old, and so not surprisingly the room was compact.

Elevator, inside wall of city.
Room extremely hot even though it was September. Very small room with only a foot between bed and wall (thanks God we had carry on). No food allowed in the room. No 24 hour reception in lobby. Hotel closes at 8:00PM

The hotel staff preemptively sent an email with guidance on most attractions and restaurants. Which was extremely helpful. Upon arrival the staff assisted us with our luggage. They helped us to navigate complex and everchanging buss and boat schedules.
The room was spotless at all time of our stay.we definitely will stay with them again. Very charming place in the center of all attractions and lovely stuff.

A beautiful perfectly located hotel within the walls of saint-malo. Due to it being a couple of streets away from the main tourist area it was a very calm, comfortable and relaxing experience amid the masses of tourists that roam the main streets. The owners are very friendly, always available, helpful and speak multiple languages. They clearly are very passionate about creating a great hotel experience for their guests. The hotel is clean, well decorated and good value. In addition, the breakfast was personal and served at the table with very high quality, often local, delicious products. Overall it was a really nice experience that I can recommend to everyone who wants to experience saint-malo.

My wife and myself arrived at Hotel Le Nautilus in the morning tired, and stressed after a long day of traveling. Edward kindly let bus into our room well before official check-in time. Very nice and gracious on his part, we were able to shower and nap before heading out to explore wonderful St Malo. Good shower, comfortable bed, nice view overlooking old cobblestone street.
Edward offers a great overview of the city for activities and restaurants.
Wished there was a more comfortable chair to sit in, but that is minor.
