Everything was good except there were no eggs served.
Bedroom was big and comfortable but the toilet (room) was too small! No bidet or water source.

The hotel is in a great location in the old town. The rooms were nice and clean and the breakfast was very good.

Ideal location for a stop over before and early ferry - 3 mins in car, 10 min walk to terminal. Offered secure parking which was much appreciated - but watch it's a tight squeeze.

Great location in the bustling city. With a great view of the port.The room was ideal and the breakfast just what you needed.
The staff were very friendly and helpful particularly Vincent who is very knowledgeable about the area & helpful.
The parking is tricky!

Great location. the staff were lovely. As a centrally located hotel, it’s wonderfully convenient for exploring the area. That said, it’s worth noting that the outside noise can be noticeable at night. This was to be expected for any hotel inside the city walls, so light sleepers might want to come prepared with their earplugs!
While my overall stay was pleasant, I did notice that the stair carpet could benefit from some attention. It appeared quite worn, which detracted slightly from the overall impression of the hotel. A refresh here would really elevate the guest experience and match the standards seen elsewhere in the property.

The hotel itself is lovely - a very old building tastefully modernized
We had a very strange and upsetting experience here with a demand for a credit card number that looked like a potential fraudulent scam. We booked several months in advance, and a few days ahead it moved into non-cancellable status, where booking.com said they would charge our card no matter what. But the day before the hotel messaged us to ask us for our credit card number over open unsecured message or email (!!) apparently because we were arriving after reception closed early and they wouldn’t accept the booking.com assurance of payment. Unexpected demands for such information is exactly what booking.com frequently warns against as potentially intercepted messages or a scam. We were looking at having no hotel in St Malo to stay in on a rainy night or maybe losing our credit card to potential fraud. It WAS actually the hotel asking, and they eventually said they would release the key, but they should not do this if booking.com has assured payment already. Also, booking,com customer service never even replied when we contacted them for help that the hotel was apparently refusing their payment. Whatever the issues between this hotel and booking.com, they need to work it out before this can be regarded as a reliable or appropriate reservation.

Staff was great. We had an issue with the bill and it was resolved by Lurance easily. Location is fantastic
No AC during a heat wave made sleeping a bit difficult.

The room was comfy, the breakfast was good, the staff was especially friendly and helpful, and the city is just marvelous.
No fault of the hotel, but the clients of nearby bars were very noisy late at night.

Wonderful
The triple room was comfortable and not cramped. We appreciated the separate toilet closet and shower room. Beds were comfortable and the location was ideal for visiting the Intra Muros area. The optional breakfast was a welcome addition and well stocked.
Parking can be difficult to find nearby, however we were pleased to find a metered space right outside the hotel that did not need to be paid overnight, only during specific day time hours. Read the parking meter information carefully.
