Great location and very welcoming and friendly staff. Rooms were nice and clean. Charming breakfast room. Private parking @ 20 for the night right next to the hotel is very convenient.
We booked two rooms which we knew would be in the adjacent Skipper building - right next to the hotel so no problem there, and both very clean, but one was pretty tight on space with two very thin single beds occupying the majority of what little space there was. Just a place to sleep so no train smash but brought the comfort & value for money score down a bit.

Location within the walls, 15 minutes walk from Railway Station., 10 mins walk to Ferry Terminal. Close to restaurant and cafes.
At Check-in I was directed to Skippers Building, 50 metres from the Elizabeth Hotel. No reference at booking that there are 2 sites.

As seems quite normal, no bar or lounge but it was no inconvenience

Excellent location just inside the walls and easy to drive to. Secure parking for the car. Helpful and friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Interesting historic building

Location was great and the staff very nice and friendly.
Massively overpriced, characterless, pokey but worst of all, hotter than the sun. It was the hot day before which is clearly not their fault, and I had not noticed that there was no air conditioning which was mine, but for the massive price I would have expected at least a fan. Slept with the windows open all night and sweated and didnt sleep, partly because of the heat, partly because of the massive street lamp right outside the window. Also, there was no internet, which would have been nice in circumstances where its impossible to sleep.

The location is great, inside the town`s walls so it is just a very short walk to the bars, restaurants and beach. The receptionist was very friendly and the hotel had a separate garage to park my motorbike. The hotel`s rooms are in other buildings nearby as well as the main hotel. We didn`t have breakfast.
The room was small but it was fine for a one night stay, otherwise nothing wrong at all. I would stay again.

Very good location with secure parking for our motorcycle (10 per day)
No milk supplied for the tea/coffees. Not many coffee sachets so bought our own! Not a big issue to be fair.

Clean and convenient for ferry. Had a bike store. Friendly and helpful staff.
We were in a separate building round back of hotel down an alley. Hard to find entrance in the dark. A bit like being in a hostel. Cramped. No natural light apart from a light well. No views from windows. We would ensure we had rooms in main hotel if we stayed again.
