Location in the old town is lovely and close to the beach.

The location is just what you're looking for! A historic hotel where you can unwind after a long walk on the endless beaches. The room is spacious and well appointed.
My room faced the late night restaurants and bars so it was a bit loud but the rooms were cozy and well insulated which mitigated some of the noise. The bathroom is not well appointed, be sure to bring conditioner if you need it.

Excellent location, nice room, friendly personell in the reception.
When w phoned the Hotel, we did not get any answers. Ouf phone calls where forwarded to an answering machine. We got an e-mail from the hotel regarding our request after we hade left the hotel. A telephone is a device where you expect instant answers to questions. If the phone goes to an answering machine, you expect to be phoned back within 30 minutes.

This was my 5th stay at the hotel over 4 years. The location is fantastic. We actually stayed this trip 2 different nights with a short break in between to visit MSM. The first time we checked in, the woman who greeted us was not pleasant at all and acted like we were annoying her by merely trying to get our rooms and pay. It was really a poor first impression, and I was thinking that perhaps things had changed at this hotel for the worst. Thankfully, when we returned for our second stay, we were greeted by a charming, smiling young woman who made us feel very welcome.
On Friday night the live music from downstairs was very loud and went pretty late into the night making sleep impossible until midnight.

I asked about parking at the hotel and was told it was cheaper than parking outside at the lot. That was not true. Parking outside was about 1/4 the cost of what it would have been to park at the hotel.

The location was very good. Restaurants, tourist office, and bus stops close by.
We enjoyed the breakfast food: eggs, bacon, sausage, croissants, bread, butter and jams, cake, juices, fruit, variety of yogurt, cheese.
No safe or refrigerator. The amenities did not include a shower cap or toothbrush. Everyday the room had many flies in it. The cleaning staff left the window open allowing the flies to come in. There was no fly swatter. We wasted time chasing the flies with a towel. We complained about the flies, but nothing was done.

Amazing location and the lobby and restaurant area were beautiful
The beds were not particularly comfortable the bathrooms were very small and outdated with minimal lighting. The halls were cluttered with folding chairs and tables and it felt like you were going through staff only areas just to get to your room. We had asked for a baby bed and it arrived broken and easily older than myself so the toddler slept on the floor. The halls were tiny, narrow, with low ceilings and very old carpets and doors. The location made up for all of this, and the breakfast was also very good.
