This was an adorable hotel in the city center of Saint Malo. Stores all around, very walkable, the staff was so friendly and the room was nice. I thoroughly enjoyed this stay and hope I am able to come back in the future.
Everything was great. Just a word of caution for anyone who has bigger suitcases, the elevator is very small so pack accordingly.

The location is great. It is situated on a quiet square between two busy streets. It's an ideal base for exploring the city.
The facilities are excellent. The shower has adjustable temperature control. I was also surprised at how smooth the bed sheets were.
The staff are very helpful. When I checked in, I was given a map of Saint-Malo and information about the tide times for visiting Grand Bé.
There's nothing in particular, but it might be too popular and difficult to book. I happened to find the last available room.

Centrally located inside the walls of the old town and less than a 5 minute walk to the parking lot just outside the walls. Very friendly staff that provided many tips for restaurants and things to see.
The room was very comfortable with a nice view of the surrounding buildings. Overall, it was a great stay and highly recommended.

What a marvelous establishment! You couldn't have a better location within the walled city sector of Saint-Malo. Being on a square and not too busy, I had no problem getting taxis to come right up to the hotel. That's been a problem at other locations here. The location makes it easy to explore the area, but also keeps it quiet. We had no issues at all with street noise. Rooms are fine, and everything works great. I can't say enough about the owners. What warm and welcoming folks! My French isn't great, and we had fun working back and forth between French and English. This is a family-run hotel, and you could tell that by how kind and friendly everyone was. It was a delight to stay here, and we will look to return on our next trip to Saint-Malo. And the breakfast! Probably the best we've had through our month-long stay in France!
Nothing. Everything worked great for us. I really can't identify a flaw here. Perhaps I should point out that the hotel is like all the other buildings in the walled city sector of Saint-Malo: narrow and vertical. So if you are traveling with a lot of suitcases, remember that, be prepared for stairs or the small elevator. We had quite a few bags, maybe four, so it took us a couple trips to get up the elevator, but that isn't a fault, it's just the way things are, part of the adventure!

Location, room, cleanliness and breakfast were all excellent. But the staff were exceptional — engaging us in conversation and helping us fine-tune our plans so we could have an even better visit to this area, which was new to us. As a result, our visit was MUCH BETTER than we could have had without their help — so I recommend it most highly to visitors hoping to have a great time.
I wish we spoke better French, because, while the hotel was FINE, many other stores/restaurants/places in the area could not understand us very well in English.

Convenient in the walled city area of Saint Malo. The lobby is updated and inviting . The staff friendly. The room is bright and large and and attractive and very clean. The bathroom the same . Water pressure good and water temp good. The buffet breakfast room was nice and bright and the buffet was good. The bed was quite comfortable. It’s in a cool looking historical building .
Main issue relates to noise in room. My room was on the front but during day until 9:30 or so some crowd noise from the square in front of building . Soundproofing between adjacent rooms is not great . Sleep disturbed by quite loud neighbour returning very late one evening. No safe in room . Halls a little dingy.

Great central location in the St. Malo old town near lots of restaurants and shopping. They offer a really excellent breakfast buffet. The staff were all super-nice and helpful. Was really easy to arrange a late check in after the lobby closed at 9pm. Good shower. 1130 am check out time was very generous so we could stay in our room until it was time to go to the train (the station is about a 25 minute walk, though there are buses).
The room was a bit cramped. The toilet was in a little room by itself. To wash you hands you had to go around the corner into the bathroom, which was too small for two people at the same time.

Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the location was incredible as it was inside the walled city (Intra-Muros). Breakfast was delicious! Rooms were on the smaller side but we already knew when booking, which wasn't a deal-breaker; however, they were beautifully decorated and clean.
There was some noise coming from, possibly, a bar, on the street at night. This was every night, not super loud but enough to notice it.

Great family run place, breakfast was good, location is basically the best in town. Rooms aren't big but to be expected in this part of town. Bathroom was clean.
Not much except things they can't control like there was some noise in the room from the street, people have fun and you can hear them even with the windows closed but after 11, it was really quiet.

Super location in the walls. Small but comfy rooms. Lovely breakfast. Highly recommend staying inside the walls as the streets empty out in the evening and it is much nicer to wander around.
Parking was tricky as it was a busy time of year.
