I stayed at Villa des Bordes on the first night of a 30 day road trip through France & Spain. After a reasonably warm welcome, the Villa provided safe, free and secure parking for my car and a very comfortable room for the night with very pleasant views of the surrounding countryside. There was an exceptional restaurant at the Villa serving delicious food in a great setting.

Everything was very good. This our third stay at the Logis Villa de Bord and we cannot fault the place.

Great dinner in a lovely garden setting & a perfect breakfast indoors. A great spot not far from the A10 as we headed north to our ferry.
The welcome! It was 35degree heat so we’d had a punishingly hot journey. We arrived at 4pm to find the gates locked & no way in & no shade to park in. Madame opens her check in at 4.30pm so we had to further broil for 30mins till she arrived. Not good enough. At least leave the gates open so your clients can park in your shady parking area. And no smile in greeting or asking how our journey had been. She needs to learn some social skills!

Dinner was amazing. We sat outside under the trees and were served a fantastic michelin style 4 course menu with super good wine and service. Extremely idyllic surroundings and definately worth a visit.
Breakfast is good but basic. Rooms do not have AC. Only fans. It was 28+ °C during our visit, and the room temperature was ok. Proper AC would have been a plus.

This hotel is a true gem! It has great service and ambience. The room we stayed in was large and the beds were very comfortable. It is perfectly located a small distance from Orleans and many of the castles of the Loire river while being in a quiet and rural area where you can easily relax. The breakfast is excellent with lots of choice. The outdoor dining area is beautiful and the food is very reasonably priced. Cannot recommend this highly enough!
