The hotel had undergone an upgrade since our last stay and was bright and very comfortable.
The overnight parking is underground and secure if rather tight in the spiral ramps.
The restaurant cheese offering is totally amazing. I’ve never seen a greater collection other than in cheese shop.

Nice overall hotel, a bit on the outskirts of the old center. The breakfast was good and the room was quiet.
The room was a bit outdated. There were visible signs of usage. Nothing that impacted the stay.

I liked the EV charger in the parking
The room and overall design show that Mercure doesn’t know whether it wants to be an upcycled IBIS Basic or a wannabe mid level hotel. The bathroom had a fresh coat of paint over the existing tiles, but kept the ceiling tiles that are reminiscent of the worst seventies hotels.

Very handy for the major route south, parking, fog friendly
There was supposed to be a restaurant open but all they had to offer was a cold plate selection with no choice at a rather high price. We ended up at a Carrefour since most other places were closed as well. The car park pay machine only accepted credit cards and not debit cards so I had to pay a currency transaction fee - not acceptable.
