Amazing location, right beside the beautiful Rouen Cathedral, in the heart of the historic centre, and c. 15 minutes from the train station.
Comfy beds, rooms had decent aircon so sleeping was not an issue. No noise at night.
Hotel breakfast had good variety and made for a great start to the day.

The location of the hotel is perfect and with underground parking makes it more appealing, especially in the city centre. The hotel is right next to the cathedral and around the corner from the main shopping streets and other sites. The bar is good downstairs and the barkeep made very nice cocktails. We were only here for one night so didn't utilise the restaurant or breakfast but this area looked lovely.
The room was very spacious and with a good bathroom. It was extremely hot when we arrived in Rouen and would say the air conditioning could do with improvement. It did keep us cool enough to sleep - just but we think it could do with updating. The olny gripe would be that it is obvioous that the rooms are pet friendly with the distinct odour of dogs. Not to an unpleasant level but you are aware of it. Perhaps having non-pet friendly rooms and giving the customers the option would be a good idea. We were fine but some customers may get upset about this.

The quality and range of the breakfast was very good. This also included different gluten free foods , and non standard things eg Normandy cooked apples.
Appreciated the quiet room and the quiet location
Room lighting was not bright enough. And is so common with hotels, there is no central overhead light

The location is perfectly in the center of the city. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast had a lot of choices.
You have to pay surplus for the parking at the hotel.

The location of the hotel and also the spacey room we have been offered. The hotel has an underground parking which is great for the location in town.
The breakfast was a disappointment, old pastries from the day before

Disappointing
Location. Free water in reception.
Despite having paid for the room in full on booking.com I was accused by the man on reception of not paying when I went to check out. This was despite me showing him my email confirmation of proof of payment from booking.com and the debit on my banking account. He was very accusatory towards me and not at all pleasant, clearly disbelieving me despite me showing him clear evidence of payment. It was very stressful. He was basically saying I couldn’t leave without paying again. A manager eventually appeared who was much more helpful who agreed I could leave and she would check with booking.com. Of course she was able to confirm that I had paid so I was grateful for the assistance of the manager Melanie - thank you to her. However the man made me feel extremely stressed in his interactions with me and I was in a tiz and very stressed which caused me to leave my walking stick at reception as he had got me so upset. So now I have to go and buy a new walking stick which is all the fault of the rude man on reception on 6/7/26.
