I don't know what it is about European motels. They do not seem to be able to provide a simple electric kettle and a small fridge to keep some milk and drinks in overnight. You can stay in the middle of nowhere in Australia in a pub and still get a kettle and a small fridge for half the price

It was close to the river & the night receptionist was very kind & helpful.
There is only pizza available in the “restaurant “ in the evening. The term “restaurant “ is an inaccurate description it’s more like a cheap cafe. The breakfast was appalling. It was impossible to make toast because the only available bread was baguettes. There were no serviette’s available so everyone was holding the bread to cut it, then leaving it for the next person to hold.
