It’s location, relatively near to the main station yet easy to walk around the city.
It is a little tired, decor wise, but served my needs perfectly well (arriving after 6pm and leaving before 6am).

Excellent central location. Friendly host. Our dogs were welcome.
Rather a trudge from the expensive town car park, though we did get a price reduction voucher from the hotel.

really quiet and great location for the railway station
strong smell of floor cleaner or some other product, took a few hours to get rid of with window open. not nice. also room heating was not warm enough during the night.

The walls were a bit thin, I guess that can be problematic when you have noisy neighbors at night which was not my case.

Very nice, welcoming and helpful staff - they make this place shine. The breakfast area was beautifully decorated, transmitting the vibe of Christmas at the time. There is a lot of attention to detail here. The hotel has a convenient arrangement with the parking nearby.
The building itself is very old, which has its charm. However, the sound isolation is not great, as you can imagine.

Great value for money. Centrally located, clean space.
The only drawback (?): it is an old building so you may have to walk up a lot of stairs. :) build in gym!
