The location and the staff. The beds and linens were clean.
The smell is bad and the room is not properly clean. You can't leave the windows open during the day while you are away, because any other guest can enter in your room or even somebody from the street if he find his way in the inner courtyard. I suggest replacing those windows with windows that could open partially.

I stayed at the Princesse Isabelle for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in 2022. I hadn't stayed there before but I was very impressed with both the cost and the place itself. My room was safe and quiet and the bathroom facilities were excellent. I asked the host to help me with a bus to Longchamp, which I believed to pass quite close by, and he was very helpful. It's about a 10-minute walk to the Esplanade de la Dfense Mtro station, so you can get around Paris from there. I said I would return. I did, and I will come back, God willing, in 2024.
If you're looking to impress your wife/girlfriend by a stay in a swanky Parisian hotel, then the Princesse Isabelle probably isn't for you. But, then again, if you think you could get a swanky Paris hotel for 100 a night on Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe weekend, you are a fool.
