Really nice view of the Sacr Cur when you are on the 5th floor. Not far from Montmartre.
I stayed there twice and the bathrooms are disgusting. It also smells bad in the bedroom & the bathroom.

The location.
When I arrived I noticed something was off. People living more like squatters than a hotel type of environment. I was informed that the hotel was not working as such and that I should go to a hotel nearby. This hotel was Le Regent Montmartre, which was a 5 min walk. There they took care of my reservation as if nothing had happened, never apologized for my inconvenience. In fact they acted as if I should have been aware of the change on my reservation, whi I wasn't. They sent me an email at the moment of my booking that said that any stay before March 31st will be redirected to this other hotel, but my booking was for the first week of may, so I ignored it. Please be aware of this. And don't book with them or Regent Montmartre, which I reviewed though Google reviews and they gave me a standard PR response, they just don't care. Bed was unconformable, the bedroom layout was not well though out for a 4 person stay, not enough charging sockets. Breakfast was really expensive (9 euros) for what they were offering (a Starbucks breakfast would have cost me the same).

Nice location with a few tram/metros nearby to take you anywhere in the city. Lots of restaurants and bars around and very close to sacre coeur. The room was clean and there was an elevator.
Not the hostel we actually booked, they sent us somewhere else. Rooms are kind of small but I guess thats Paris. Even though it was a hostel didnt get a hostel community vibe but maybe thats due to COVID.

The heater in the room was very effective. The location was excellent - close to a Carrefour, the Metro is 50 m away, and the Gare du Nord one block away. Also, the Montmartre is just across the street.
The rooms are really small, and no view. In one bathroom there was no shower. The breakfast was way too expensive - 9 euro for basically croissants and bread.

the location is not the same, the name is not the same. the real name is le regent. which is located somewhere near to this former hotel. feels scary and like a scam
