Comfortable and well-appointed room. Good location to visit the Right Bank area. Subway station at the front door.
Good access to restaurants.
Bar noise until 2am and rumbling noise from subway.

Location was great
I had a strong smell of mold in my bathroom and I had to argue my way into changing my room - completely unacceptable. The staff was not very accommodating and the room was quite dingy. Shocked and disappointed that a hotel that supposedly has 4 stars would have such issues. Overall not at all what I expected. Would not recommend this hotel.

It’s near metro and bakery and other shops.
They don’t give free water for drinking in the room. I don’t know if you have to ask. I am used to see bottled water inside the room.

Bad price quality. The pictures look much nicer than the hotel itself. It’s very old, with no way to adjust the temperature in the room. The toilets are small, and people were slamming doors throughout the night. Even though it was a single room, the bed was extremely small — it was impossible to relax.

Location and the staff team
Being put in a room the size of a broom cupboard. Until we moved it, the thick glass topped table housing the (warm) mini-bar blocked a good half of the doorway to the room. A bedside table with suspended lamp above was only possible on one side of the bed. The person on the other side slept with their head under a lampshade. Getting to the bathroom in the night meant navigating around the table top without bruising, let alone breaking skin. (We are both thin people btw.) The room was boiling even with the radiator on frost setting as the pipework belted out heat while the aircon only worked during summer months. We needed the window open to keep cool and so had to put up with all the noisy extractors in the dumbell to our room. When I this out, staff advised that it wasn’t just this one room but ALL in the same (standard double) category. I have never paid anything like this nightly rate for a hotel room. I did it for a special occasion to be with another couple booking through BA. They got an upgrade to a fabulous sized room.

My daughter and I were presented with a bottle of cava and chocolates once we had checked in.
This was a lovely surprise and well received.
The room was well decorated and although it was front facing the secondary glazing was very good and cut out 90% of the work.
Shower unit could have been a little larger ...

Hotel was in central location, staff were kind, helpful and knowledgeable, and helped me out. Room was comfy and clean
Shower was very hot and felt the room was a lot for the price I paid for one night.
