The hotel staff were really lovely, nothing was too much trouble and they made an effort to interact with our kids, making their stay feel a bit more special. The room was spacious by Parisian standards and beds really comfortable. Great walkable locatio. Would definitely go back here!

The location of the hotel was the only thing we liked
The rooms are too small, the sofa bed are not comfortable the carpets of the hotel isn’t clean enough. The fridge in the room doesn’t work.

Nice rooms. Comfy bed. Mini fridge wasn’t plugged in but I noticed and did that. Breakfast was nice though tea and coffee was served with hot water and no milk despite asking. Location was good.
The check in was very poor. Room wasn’t ready but gave my passport/card. A friend had already checked in so went up to her room. The lady on reception forgot to give me my passport back but I decided I would collect it once my room was ready and I got my room key. In the meantime the receptionist asked a group who had booked separately to me (arrived after me but were on the same hen) if they knew me. They said they did so she gave them my passport! Without my permission. They were not included on my booking. I wasn’t very happy about that. On check out day I handed my keys back and left my luggage ( in an unlocked room that anyone had access to) and went shopping. I had a message from someone I knew staying there saying the staff are asking for me to go and pay for my room! The hotel have my email and my telephone number yet asked someone in the same hen group as me to go to reception because I hadn’t paid my bill! Again very unprofessional. My booking was totally separate from the group. And I hadn’t yet left the hotel to travel home. I had returned my keys and no one had said the balance hadn’t been paid. My card details they have on file also. So the lady when I checked in didn’t take the money. Gave my passport to someone that I barely know and then treat me like I’ve tried to leave without paying the bill at the end of the trip. My luggage was also left in a room with other guests of the hotel to get changed etc behind closed doors with everyone’s bags. So strangers were in the room with everyone else’s luggage unattended for as long as they wanted. This isn’t acceptable.

I liked the junior suite room with courtyard view; it was clean, comfortable, and quite large. I also liked Dominic, the bellhop. He was polite, friendly, and informative. Also, the location was perfect; you would ,be hard pressed to find a better location in all of Paris. The breakfast wasn't bad either.
I didn't like the fact that I was charged twice for our stay. While the second erroneous charge was reversed when brought to the hotel's attention, my credit card was not refunded the full amount charged because of a currency conversion loss. Apparently, a hotel "system change" caused the second charge. When I brought the currency transaction loss to the hotel's attention they said it wasn't their fault. It certainly wasn't mine either. A somewhat snooty staffer made us wait in the lobby for a full hour after check-in time before we could access our room, again claiming "system change" problems. Our stay did not start out on the right foot, although we were given a couple of free drinks vouchers at the hotel bar for our troubles. I had to ask for them though, hearing from someone else that they might be tendered. Finally, four of us paid the concierge 90 Euros each (cash only) for what we were led to believe was a private Louvre tour. It was a large group tour. Avoid the cash only concierge desk.
