The 9th Arrondissement where the hotel is located is a nice area, perfect for exploring the city.
The room was notably small, leaving little space to move around comfortably. To make matters worse, there were noticeable scratches on the paint, which detracted from the overall aesthetics. The staff, unfortunately, didn't meet my expectations. They weren't particularly helpful or uplifting, which could have improved the overall experience. While the location was a redeeming quality, the room's condition and the service made this stay less enjoyable than I had hoped.

Amazing location in Paris and close to a metro station. The room was very clean and staff were friendly. Nice view of the street from the window too.
The room was VERY small. You couldn't fit more than just the bed, so we had to store our bags under the bed. Due to the size it also lacked the usual hotel room amenities like a mini fridge and ironing board.

Staff lovely, very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Located to beautiful cafes and restaurants that we enjoyed on our stay in Paris. The property is out of the heavily invaded tourist areas, so quiet and authentic

the bed linen felt a bit rough and the pillow felt cheap too. I understand price peaked for fashion week but the room was very small for the price and the bathroom was half exposed in the room which I felt a bit strange.

The hotel is not safe. I bought some very good cheese for my husband, gave to the manager to put into the fridge - and did not got it back when checking out. They could not find it. I was asking to help me to arrange delivery from that shop as it was very important to me, the girl refused to do it. Of cause no reimbursement or any excuse. I was sitting and crying because of such a terrible attitude to me.

Lovely ambience in the foyer gives a warm feeling on arrival and whenever we get "home" in Paris. 24/7 recep and complimentary refreshments in the foyer : coffee/tea, water/lemonade and in the afternoon there are cakes! The hospitality from a particular staff (overnight manager) was superb. He was the epitome of French welcome and went over and above eg : each night, when we got back at say 10.30pm we would lounge in the foyer and he surprised us with cheese/fruit platter and refreshments. Felt very special. Nothing was too difficult for him. The room was very small (expected in Paris) but very stylish. We got macaroons and a welcome letter from the staff. Nice touch. Toiletries were from LOccitane (luxurious) and we later found out that the owner of the hotel is the same as the LOccitane. There is actually another Max Follies hotel opposite the road (same group) but more upmarket (presumably has more facilities and features). Overall Paris excels at romance - with many shops adorn with flowers and things of beauty.
Location was not in the centre of Paris so there is a bit of walking (but metro helped greatly). On the other hand there are tourist destinations within about 20 min circle. We went in Aug when the shops were closed for their break so we didnt get the buzz and feel of liveliness on the streets around the hotel. Looking for a local patisserie in the morning was a challenge.

Rooms although small were nicely equipped and comfortable. Loved the good free coffee in reception. Free cake too although we didnt have any
Street outside a bit noisy early in day when bin wagons came. But it didnt last long.
