The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.
The room was comfortable and very spacious (for Paris).
The bed was very good.
The location was excellent.
We were very pleasantly surprised to come back to the room one day to find it decorated with balloons, petals and sweet treats to recognise my husband't birthday. It was completely unexpected and utterly lovely.
Only 2 things slightly marred our experience:
1. The head of the rain shower was so clogged with limescale that it sprayed in any direction but down, rendering it unusable.
2. The breakfast was not, we felt, good value for money. There were no a la carte options like eggs benedict or an omelette, which you would expect in a 5* hotel. And although the products were of good quality, the relatively limited choice on offer really did not justify a €36 per person price tag.

Very Poor
I accidentally made a same-day booking by mistake and contacted the property within minutes to explain the situation and ask for a cancellation or date change. Despite my immediate request and clear explanation, the hotel showed absolutely no willingness to help or show any flexibility.
In my experience, good hospitality means understanding and supporting guests when honest mistakes happen – especially when contacted so promptly. Instead, I received cold, dismissive replies, and my request was completely ignored.
Very disappointing customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful and guest-oriented treatment.

We had a wonderful stay at the Maison Albar - Le Diamond hotel. We are a family of four and stayed at the hotel for three nights. The staff were very friendly, and we felt warmly welcomed from the beginning.
Before our stay, we inquired about parking availability and received a response within minutes (there is a public parking garage very close to the hotel). Upon arrival, we were seated and offered welcome drinks, which was a lovely touch. We appreciated that our room was ready even though we arrived early.
The room was clean and spacious enough for a family. The gym was quite small, but we appreciated having one available on the hotel premises.
The location was excellent—there were many restaurants and cafés nearby, and public transportation connections to various attractions were convenient.
The hotel breakfast was delicious and plentiful, though the price was a bit high.

The cleaning people were not consistent in cleaning our room. They left a giant garbage bag in our room with the garbage from other rooms. They would make the bed every other day.

Perfect location, right next to a Metro station, amazing breakfast buffet, extremely friendly staff. We slept well, with no noise from the street, as our room faced inward. We would definitely stay here again.

The aircon was broken. We couldn’t turn it off. We addressed this to the staff, someone was supposed to come to fix it, but never did. The reception didn’t make it up to us when we flagged the issue, just acknowledged that
