The staff was amazingly friendly
The only thing missing in this experience was the inclusion of free breakfast during our stay. We had light breakfast every morning (coffee and bread) only but we paied dor the full charge. I think there might be a room to enhance this experience for yhe guest withot largely impacting the financial aspects for the hotel.

The property is in a good locality and close to many tourist attractions in Paris. The staff were very friendly and nice too.
The rooms are quite small and one can barely fit in the bathrooms. The bathroom facilities were not fully working. The sink drain cap was stuck and so would lead to water logging. The pictures of the rooms are not quite the accurate picture of what I actually got either and the breakfast spread was quite limited too. The key reader in the elevator was not working either and that lead to all the guests having to insert their keys many times.

Property was in a great location - close to main shopping area (Printemps / Galleries Lafayette etc.) Plenty of cafes / restaurants around within a couple of minutes walking distance. Staff were pleasant, and member of staff who checked us in was very courteous and professional, and very helpful by issuing us with a map of the city and pointing out places of interest.
I arranged for balloons as part of the package for our stay for our silver wedding anniversary - and they were lovely.
We booked an upgraded room for our anniversary so selected the duplex room which on the photos shows a sofa in the living area, and shows 2 double windows / doors leading to the terrace. The room we were allocated (Room 606) was definitely not this size - there was no sofa (and no room for a sofa), and only 1 double windows / door - proving it was a smaller room than the photos advertising the duplex. In addition, the wash hand basin was stained and cracked (and needs replacing), and the carpet in the living area was stained.

Location was superb, very close to louvre and so on.
Very passive reaction / interest when presented with a problem. My charger disappeared from the room (either stolen or taken from the maid by mistake). When informed, reaction was passive - oh yeah, we never had that, so if we find it we send you an email. How does that help me, and how is that an appropriate response. My charger (30 EUR worth supercharger) is gone, and so is a future guest. Appropriate reaction would have been to contact the maid, ask around - instead the answer was "she already went home so we cant ask her". I would think twice of staying in a hotel where my stuff can be taken, and noone cares. Lets add the fact, that the humidity is crazy, the heating cant be controlled cause its central, the bathtub was broken (thus no option to take a bath).

We had duplex on top floor with balcony and enjoyed having a cigar and whiskey at night when we got home and waching Paris go by below
Our room needed a bit of a revamp to make it look like the picture that is not a duplex room
