The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had all we needed
It was too hot and the heating couldn’t be controlled as the heating was turned on for the whole hotel. And they didn’t have fans they could give guests.

The staff at the reception were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. They went beyond my expectations to make sure my stay was perfect!
Fire alarm twice activated in less than 24 hours of check in. Whilst inconvenient to evacuate my room, staff were calm and reassuring as it was a ‘false’ alarm and returned to my room very quickly.

This non flashy hotel is in a side street very close to St George metro and a street full of mouth watering shops selling cheeses, meats, croissants - a foody’s paradise. Very lively in the evening with lots of places to eat and drink. Our superior room was a good size with a huge comfortable bed. The balcony was compact but provided an outside space to sit. The shower was excellent. Kettle, coffee machine and fridge provided. The staff were delightful and very helpful . We arrived by Eurostar to Gare du Nord. Walked to hotel. About 25 mins. Buy yourself a good street map of Paris. It’s a fabulous city. We did 50,000 steps in two and half days as well as enjoying the metro which basically costs £2.20 per journey regardless of how far you go - it seems.
We paid £20 each to go in the Louvre. If you do this you need to plan your visit as it is huge and crowded. We did not enjoy it .
My husband was disappointed the steam room was not working but that could have been our error. Check in case you have to say you want to use it when you book your slot in spa in advance which you must do

Location is fantastic, 20min walk from Gare du Nord. Complementary coffee (machine that does café au lait, and other options). Fridge in the room (for all the delicious French cheeses!). Steam room and pool to cap it off! Complementary macarons were in our room when we arrived - delicious!
