I loved staying at this hotel. The room was perfect for me. Very comfortable and cozy. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the food from the restaurant is delicious. I would always stay here.

Friendly staff, great taxi availability, ok breakfast, superb location.
Too dark corridors and rooms. Overlooking courtyard was creepy with ivy and dead leaves. Old fashioned but they are working with old building. Used to stay there 30 years. Unchanged but world has moved on. 1000 e per night? Really. Breakfast too crammed in lobby. All a bit weird.

Breakfast sitting very comfortable & coffees arrived quickly. Honesty bar had a nice selection of wines. Very congenial option for cocktail time. Concierge was very helpful. Would have been nice if hotel had reached out bout making restaurant reservations in advance. I did leave a note in response to an email from Sophie, the hotel manager, but no response.
The bathroom amenities were not generous. I used one of the body lotions on the first day but it wasnt replaced in the days following. Would have expected more from the hotel.

Magnificent staff. Beautiful building, bar, library. Delicious breakfast and a 1-star Michelin resto onsite - superb! Our room was nice AND quiet!
Needs some fresh paint here and there.

The outside courtyard was really pretty and the entrance to the hotel was through a little private entrance which was very charming
The room was fine, the decor was a bit past its day. The staff were friendly and helpful, but we didnt find it quite up to its 5 star rating ovaerall. The spa was small but nice. The staff were friendly and the massages were relaxing but leant more towards average than exceptional. We ate once in the lounge and the food was again, nice but nothing to write home about.

Beautiful property in Le Marias with wonderful staff who cater to your every need. My son and I stayed there for three nights, and it felt like a little home away from home. Love the library/living room setup where you can make your own drinks! Will be recommending this property to friends!
Room was a little small for two people, and the separate toilet closet from the rest of the bathroom was a little odd and felt stuffy. Its an historic building though, so these things are expected.

The lift being used by guests and housekeeping, quality of the fit out (inside wardrobes) is a little cheap. Shower curtains feel dated, linen on bed had holes in it!
