Excellent value for money - I feel like if this were a branded hotel, they could easily charge us at least 50% more. Very very helpful staff. Excellent location - literally less than five minutes away from both the Republique and Oberkampf stations. Pretty new hotel, so everything is in great condition. Pretty spacious bathroom for Paris. Beyond adequate room if solo travelling.
My only request is if they could provide hair conditioner. Extra brownie points if they could put up a little rack in the shower cubicle for people to put their face wash and whatever personal amenities they need to use inside the shower cubicle.

Room was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. Location was great and the restaurant recommendation (L'Aller Retour Marais) in the provided map I tried was excellent
The breakfast was a little disappointing, choice wasn't great and the quality of food was lower than the three star hotel I previously stayed in. It was sufficient but nothing more and didn't match the quality of the rest of the hotel. The reception on the TV in my room was also poor during my stay, and it was in an odd location in the room

We had an amazing stay at this hotel!
The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of fresh options.
The location is perfect—close to everything we needed, yet quiet and relaxing.

Great hotel in an excellent location. Staff were helpful and friendly. Loved being welcomed with a glass of champagne. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Room was tight for two adults with more suitcases than they should have had. Joking of course — that’s on us. There’s really nothing we didn’t like.

Checking in and Checking out was a smooth process. The hotel met our request for an early check in and offered us some refreshments and a very nice brand for us to use to freshen up when we arrived. The day and night staff are so friendly and very nice. They gave us a lot of recommendations and offered to help with transportation when getting around the city.Our room was very clean and we had a gorgeous window view of the street, my husband and I were very comfortable with our stay here. I wished we stayed longer! Our stay here was for one night in Paris for our honeymoon trip, but we will definitely re-book with Le General Hôtel when coming back. Thank you guys all so much for making our day in Paris wonderful! - Jordan and James

The staff was so kind, welcoming you with a smile and really caring about the clients. The rooms were of quite big size for Paris, pretty nice design, bathroom is just great, shower is great. The experience was great thanks to the gentleness of the staff and a really solid comfort stay.

The staff were super attentive to us! We had a clean and comfortable room with a balcony. The hotel's location is convenient to the metro, market, grocery stores, and cafes.
The breakfasts were quite good with different options but remained the same during our 4-night stay.

Very nice staff, cosy atmosphere, well located within Marais quarter, close to Subway station Republique and Oberkampf, walking distance from Gare de l'est, we enjoyed our stay very much. Seperate bedroom for our son (junior suite with sofabed in use, not too much space for unpacking luggage though). Nice effort from hotel team to have a great start in my birthday: merci beaucoup :)
