Very Poor
The location is great, close to nice bakeries, cafes and restaurants. Metro and RER are at walking distance.
I booked four nights in the hotel. With freezing temperatures outside my room was so cold I spent the first two nights struggling. At that point the staff offered me a warmer room for the remaining two nights. When I left I asked refund for part of my stay. The manager wrote back saying they couldn't do that since I had booked through Booking.com, and offered a discount if I ever went back in the future. They also argued that I was offered a different room straight away, but that's not the case since the issue with central heating disrupted half of my stay.

We had an amazing stay at Le Général Hôtel! From the second we walked in, we felt very welcome. The staff were extremely friendly and made our stay fantastic. It was my birthday during our stay and the staff made me feel so special, it was surprise after surprise (thanks again, appreciate it so much!!). Our room was spacious enough, everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was great, plenty of options to start the day! Excellent location in Paris, near several metro stations.
Would 100% recommend and will definitely book again!

We enjoyed our stay at Le General Hotel. The hotel is located very close to the metro station and the common areas are really nice and cozy. The personnel was very helpful and the room was very clean.

The people at this hotel were absolutely amazing! Thomas at the reception gave us the best hospitality, service and recommendations.
The rooms were great, good amenities and a good size for Parisian standards.
The baked goods at the reception were a cherry on the top!

The facilities and the hotel were excellent. We couldn't have asked for a better welcome. The decor downstairs is a bit quirky but we really liked that. A great hotel in an easy to reach spot. The recommendation for dinner at La Marine was outstanding.
