The rooms were far too small for a family; even the rooms meant for three couldn't accommodate them. The smell of food permeated the rooms constantly, and the extra bed was a disappointment, as was the blanket, which wasn't a real blanket but a sheet folded over a piece of cloth and presented as an adult blanket.

Dear Booking.com Customer Support Team,
I am contacting you regarding an issue with a reservation made through my father’s Booking.com account at Intercontinental Paris Le Grand by IHG for the night of 28 October 2025 – 29 October 2025.
During check-in, the hotel requested a deposit. Because the POS terminal could not read the card, I was directed to complete the payment through a payment link. At check-out, I was informed that the difference in the deposit would be refunded within a few days.
However, despite following up regularly with both the hotel and my bank, a serious issue occurred:
On 10 November 2025, the deposit was refunded to my account, on 12 November 2025, the hotel charged the same amount again, even though I had already checked out and had no additional expenses.
When I contacted the hotel, they stated that the payment was refunded on their side and that I should only speak to my bank, despite the fact that they charged my card again on 12 November. My bank confirmed that, since the initial payment was made via payment link, the hotel may still have had card access.
At this stage, the hotel refuses responsibility, and the duplicate charge has not been resolved.
I kindly request your urgent assistance in:
Reviewing the duplicate charge applied by Intercontinental Paris Le Grand.
Contacting the property directly to confirm the refund of the second transaction.
Initiating a formal complaint procedure, if necessary.
Ensuring the incorrect second charge is reversed as soon as possible.
I am attaching all related documents, including the reversal transaction dated 10 November and the new charge dated 12 November.

Central location, magnificent interior!, staff very well trained.
I would have expected a more comfortable bed.

The room was very small!The bathroom was a shoebox! And the bath was very old. It could have been cleaner too. The hotel itself is fabulous including the food but for 600 a night the rooms need to be bigger!

The location is great with many thinks going on all around the hotel , and also right in front of the opera Garnier. Rooms are comfortable. Cable TV with a vast variety very. The lobby bar is very beautiful and staff is nice. Frigobar is very good and room service also good
The bathroom is new but the floor of the shover is dangerously slippery ...
