I stay here every time I’m in Paris. I discovered this little gem in 2016, and I don’t think I’ve missed a year since.
The staff are the reason I keep coming back — in particular the wonderful Layal. She is absolutely lovely: warm, efficient, and endlessly helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and her knowledge of the local area, restaurants, and hidden corners of Paris is invaluable. Over the years, her care (and that of the team) has transformed my stays from hotel visits into something that feels much more like coming home.
If personalised service and genuine warmth are what you’re looking for, Hotel Saint-Louis truly is a home away from home.

Upon check-in as a person in a wheelchair, I always look for hotels with elevators however, the elevator in this hotel only went to a certain floor number and you had to get off and take six stairs to get to the elevator again that would never have worked for me, but with the quick thinking of DENNIS at the desk he informed me they had a handicap room on the ground level. He then proceeded to call the people who had reserved it to ensure that they needed that type of room and they did not so we were able to switch. Dennis was very kind the entire stay and really went out of his way for my comfort and I thank him so much. In France, handicap rooms are listed as PMI so in the future if you’re handy cannot please keep an eye out for PMI rooms. The property was absolutely beautiful built in the 1600s. The beams in the room on the ceiling were just amazing and it’s decorated very very nice. Took less than five minutes to reach Notre Dame Cathedral’s entrance, which is located on the side of the building for handicap people as you walk up the street from the hotel it will be on the same side of the building that you’re facing.

Hotel is beautiful. Very well decorated, with lovely furnishings.
Great location, in a quiet street but so close to everything. Staff on reception on 3rd and 5th were very polite and friendly.
The bed was really hard and the windows didn’t seem to open which made the room really warm
