Pool open for 30m only per reservation

The spa booking system is flawed. Not explanatory in timeing. Should be a 10min gap between bookings. We had issues twice in our 4 night trip. We loved the spa though,my fiance Ali loved the spa and pool area. The bar was nice but didnt mix very good coctails.....no prosseco with a pornstar martini.....not good.

1. Awful service: no one greets you, they hang up the phone on you. 2. We specifically requested preparation for a specific event and they ignored it completely. Not even a congratulations as curtesy 3. We requested to change the room and they ignored. 4. Does not look luxurious as the pictures, very basic, Airbnb would be MUCH better ! 5. No bellman 6. No help at all what so ever 7. All the staff are rude or non existant. Untrained. 8. We asked to cancel the stay, they didn’t even bother to ask why. 9. Location is bad, for the same price you can book a place next in Champs. 10. They did not tell us that we had access to the spa facilities for free, we discovered the information on our own, on the last night of our stay. 11. They asked us to pay for breakfast, we never had breakfast at the hotel! 12. They made us pay for a tax we never heard of, 8 euros per day for each person without explaining what it is. 13. We asked for an early check in and late check out, they refused both requests claiming the hotel was fully booked. IT WAS NOT (rooms were available on booking and their website). 14. Awful view, no privacy. 15. metro is far. 16. No one told us about the restaurants, the menu, the facilities in the building, timings, activities, nothing ! 17. The hotel does not have security. 18. It was raining, no one offered an umbrella. 19. Staff had attitude 20. Felt happy to finally check out !

Rooms are very small

The rooms were very small. The pool water was a bit cold and it was confusing what times the facility were available to use. Also they charge you a deposit per day that you’re staying, we had to put down another $800 to stay and there was a city tax fee when you leave. So those things are not very clear and upfront.

We had an early checkout (4 AM) and front desk person charged us for the full stay, even though we had already paid through Booking.com reservation. We should've made an issue of this, but due to being half awake, paid the charges. However, we discussed with employee and he make a note to confirm with manager later. This charge was reversed within a couple of days, so we were satisfied with the follow up by management.

I stayed at this hotel 4 nights with family and was very disappointed by the way the deposit was handled, as well as by the overall service. At checkout, I asked if my extra charges could be deducted from the deposit I had paid at check-in. The receptionist told me this was “not the hotel’s procedure” and suggested it would only be done as a last resort. Wanting to make things easy, I agreed to pay the extra directly with my card, after she confirmed the deposit would then be reimbursed. Once I paid, however, I was suddenly told the deposit would not be released until housekeeping had checked the room — which could be later in the afternoon. This was never mentioned before. When I refused, the matter escalated to the manager. His handling of the situation was unhelpful and not service-oriented; he kept hiding behind “procedures” and even walked away from the discussion at one point when I got too harsh on him. In which world does a service provider in hospitality leave the customer unsatisfied?! Only after I insisted again and pointed out that housekeeping had already been contacted by the receptionist did he reluctantly call them. Within two minutes, they confirmed there was no issue and the deposit was finally reimbursed. The manager also incorrectly claimed that this procedure was explained in Booking.com, but my booking confirmation clearly stated the deposit should be reimbursed at checkout. When I showed him this, he seemed surprised, acknowledged the error, and offered only a minimal apology. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there: • No staff offered to help us with our luggage at checkout preferring gossiping about the tense moment they just experienced ( similar to the gossiping heard at breakfast about employees holidays or at nights after 8 pm in hotel entrance ) • I was also refused basic amenities one night (shower gel) because housekeeping had already finished for the day.

the check-out was really unpleasant, stressful, and humiliating. After spending a week in this 4-star hotel and keeping both of our rooms in the best possible condition of tidiness and cleanliness, they refused to return the deposit we had left at check-in without a full inspection of the rooms. Our taxi had arrived, yet we were left waiting for our rooms to be checked, even though the minibar had been reviewed daily in a timely manner. We felt as if we were being treated like potential thieves or troublemakers. Never has a check-out left us with such a feeling. The staff member who handled our departure (on August 16 at 10:45 a.m.) was arrogant and unpleasant. She even wanted us to wait even longer, while she moved and put away about fifteen pieces of luggage belonging to other guests, before going to “inspect the rooms.” This despite knowing that our taxi was waiting outside to take us to the airport. She was alone at the front desk in mid-August, during peak tourist season in Paris. This is unacceptable from a hotel management perspective. Luckily, one of her colleagues, a technician who happened to be there, insisted that she go check the rooms while he “watched the luggage” left at reception in our presence. This falls far short of the standards expected of a four-star hotel. Once again, we had the very strong impression of being treated as suspicious or dubious individuals, as if any assistance given to us was a burden. Very, very disappointing. I do not recommend this hotel at all and will never set foot in it again.
