Payment problems. They were unable to accept my company Visa card in the reservation process, then charged my personal card twice, resulting in the annoying complication of a refund at checkout.

It seems that you really don’t step into the same hotel twice… During our first stay in 2025, Maison Armance left a very positive impression on us – it was clean, pleasant, and full of charm. Unfortunately, our return this year was a huge disappointment. The hotel felt neglected, and the level of cleanliness in the room was, frankly, unacceptable. Even after reporting the issue at reception and requesting intervention, the improvement was minimal. By accident, I did a simple “test” – after my child spilled some water, I wiped the floor with a tissue. The result was shocking – the tissue turned almost black. The carpet also looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time. We also reported a serious hygiene issue – a large patch of black mold in the shower. At the same time, we kindly asked that no harsh chemicals be used, as we only use organic or steam cleaning at home. Unfortunately, when we returned to the room late in the evening, it had been treated with strong chemical cleaners (including Domestos), and the smell was so overwhelming that we couldn’t sleep. As a result, in the middle of the night, we had to move from our Suite Concord to a smaller Executive room. The reception staff was inconsistent – some team members were very helpful and genuinely tried to resolve the situation, which we truly appreciate, while others seemed disengaged and lacking basic energy or willingness to assist. Breakfast was also disappointing. The quality was poor overall, except when Mr. Saif was on duty – during his shifts, things noticeably improved. Sunday breakfast, which should have been a relaxed and enjoyable experience, turned into chaos. There was clearly not enough staff – one person was simultaneously preparing omelets, making coffee, and clearing tables. This is simply not acceptable for a hotel of this standard. What made the experience even worse was the timing – all of this happened on my birthday. Only Kali and Charles deserved for big bravo!
