There was a very bad and strong smell in the room we stayed in and it sticks to the clothes.

The only small downside was having to request towels like bath towels, washcloths, and face towels instead of them being replenished automatically. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it did become a bit inconvenient during my stay.

Location is quite a ways away from champs-lysee, Louvre, left bank of the seine, le bon marché and Les Marais. The rooms are incredibly small. We had a junior suite for 4 nights and even that was small. Then for our 5th night we moved into quite possibly the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Very difficult to call down to front desk for various things. They advertise this as a 4 star hotel… At BEST it is maybe a 3. That would be being generous.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Paris for my 50th birthday and was extremely disappointed. Before my arrival, I filled out a form where I clearly mentioned the purpose of my trip – to celebrate a milestone birthday and create unforgettable memories. Sadly, the hotel made no effort whatsoever to acknowledge this occasion, which was already disheartening. A big red flag I ignored was that they asked for full payment of the entire stay before I was even allowed to see the room – a mistake I now regret and want to warn others about. Please insist on seeing the room before paying, no matter how nice the reviews seem online. The room was tiny (12 sqm), with barely enough space to open a suitcase. It had no balcony and only small, tilting windows. The room was also located right next to the extremely noisy elevator – which only fits two people and is very old. The noise from it was constant, and to make things worse, right as you step out of the lift, there are stairs that are easy to miss – a serious safety hazard. Breakfast was very poor, lacking any vegetables or fresh fruits. The water pressure in the shower was so weak that it took forever to rinse off. Washing your hair is not recommended unless you want to end up with shampoo still in it. The noise from outside started at 5 AM – garbage trucks, honking cars – and the room was absolutely not soundproof. The internet didn’t work at all on the first day. The staff at reception, especially the young man I spoke with, was arrogant and dismissive. I politely asked to switch rooms away from the elevator, but he showed no interest in helping. In hindsight, it probably wouldn’t have made a difference anyway, since all the rooms seem small and packed closely on each floor. I paid €1300 for 3 nights, and honestly, this hotel isn’t worth even half that price. I found it via TikTok, and I now strongly believe many of those accounts are fake or misleading. Don’t trust the hype.
