Is it the French who are generally so warm and polite or is the staff at the hotel that are an exception.
From the moment i walked in, to my check-out, the ladies and gentlemen i encountered during my 2 night stay were so welcoming.
I was entirely shocked when i was offered a glass of champagne just for waiting at the reception while i had my check-in sorted..oh wow!
And then the welcome, hand-written card and chocolates in my room...
Little things do matter...A LOT; and makeup for any subtle inconvenience.
Great and convenient Location!
Lovely breakfast!
Small but beautiful room!
Bathroom fab and other accessories provided!
Staff...fabulous.

Perfect location, and comfortable single room, with a terrific bathroom. The views out the window of the Gothic St. Severin Church were amazing.
Because it's an old building--which is part of its charm--the soundproofing is limited, especially between floors. One of my nights my upstairs neighbor seemed to march back and forth across my ceiling for several hours in the very early morning wearing very heavy shoes. The staff were politely uninterested when I told them that I knew there was not much they could do but I wondered if they could at least let him know and ask if he could try to avoid a repeat (the next morning I left very early to catch a flight so I don't know if the issue recurred.)

Everything about this hotel was better than I expected from the photos. The management team has perfected a kind of graceful professionalism that makes every interaction a pleasure. Additionally, while the photos on booking presented a place that seemed more efficient than charming, in fact, there is throughout the hotel a sense that things have been thought through carefully to craft an environment of comfort and simple elegance.

The hotel offers a nice room in a good location. The room is clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful and patient with my course language skills. The hotel can arrange for transportation to and from the airport. Also, there is a nice restaurant adjacent to the hotel for an evening meal.

What an amazing beginning to a two week trip to Europe. The hotel was a gem tucked in a quiet street next to an excellent restaurant, Rocaille. It is only a couple of blocks from Notre Dame, a perfect location, and the staff and accommodations were everything we could have hoped for.

We discovered this gem last year through Booking.com and returned this year. Staff is fantastic, we love the boutique feel and the place is clean, up to date and everything a Parisian hotel should be!
We have no complaints! They welcomed us back and spoiled us!

Charming hotel in old Paris. Fantastic location, perfect for RER to airports, metro everywhere, batobus. Walking distance to Notre Dame, Louvre, etc. In the middle of historic Paris but quiet! Simply perfect location. The restaurant right next door is one of the best we tried. Rooms are quaint and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Maybe the queen beds we had are a bit small for some bigger travelers, but they were fine for us. Breakfast a bit crowded at times, we once had to wait for a table.

You couldn't ask for a more central or better location. Everything is walkable, with access to the Metro, plenty of affordable restaurants, and museums. On top of which, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful.
Honestly, it was the perfect place to experience Paris from. The elevator may be small, but that should be the least of my problems.
