The staff was amazing and so helpful! I asked them questions almost every day and they were always helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone visiting Paris! The location was excellent.
I could not find one thing I did not like!

The location was excellent. Plus it was quiet and not in an area overrun with tourists…. even though I am one!!

Very nice hotel at the bottom of the 5th arrondissement. The staff is exceptional, always ready to help and very friendly.
Knowledgeable barman who really love their craft.
The breakfast buffet is repetitive. We were there 3 days in a row and the offering was the same. The bar is cool but quite expensive.

I loved everything about my stay here! Gorgeous, well-maintained property. My room was a cozy retreat that I looked forward to coming “home” to each night.
bedding and bathroom felt luxurious. Lovely to have a balcony with a small table, a perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink. The pool and sauna were a nice bonus, and a welcome treat after a long day of walking. The bar was lovely and the custom rum cocktails are not to be missed.

The location of the hotel is very good, walking distance from La Rue Mouffetard, Notre-Dame and many central places in Paris. The breakfast was also very good, and the place was quiet and staff friendly. The Hotel has quite some old Parisienne character. The rooms are somewhat on the small side, and at least the one I stayed in was quite dark and a little bit gloomy but nevertheless nice!
I would have preferred a room with a view and a little more spacious!

Hôtel Monte Cristo exceeded my expectations for my stay in Paris. I'd been traveling for the past week, and I walk in to this charming hotel that smelled incredible. The staff greeted me and were very friendly. My room was ready and they upgraded me (so nice!). The room itself was very chic, and the balcony was awesome. I also appreciated the full length mirrors, lighting in the bathroom and how comfortable the bed was. Honestly I wanted to stay longer just to keep sleeping in that bed, the bed linens and pillows were a dream. The shower was also great, as were all of their products. I never use hotel shampoo/conditioner but U gave theirs a try and my hair was flawless. Overall when I go back to Paris I want to stay here. I usually like the 18th, but chose this place because it was closer to the train station I needed. However, I won't be able to resist staying here for longer in the future to try out the pool, sauna and their bar. 10/10 would highly recommend!
Tea kettle in the room would've been great. I used the espresso machine for hot water and probably could've called down to ask for hot water, but it's nice when it's in the room.

The staff was great, especially Joseph the bartender. Our room was nice enough.
If I pay $500 a night for a hotel room, I would expect there would be a refrigerator in the room. The air conditioner didn't really get the room that cold and the room itself didn't have a terrace.

Great location with lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Very close to the metro for easy access to the rest of Paris. The staff were so welcoming and attentive to all our needs. We loved having the pool to relax in after a long day of walking.
