Th fact that it was close to transportation and major site seeing
The fact that it was right above a major train line that vibrated the entire building thru out or stay. If you’re a light sleeper like me not ideal.

Very nice intimate hotel. Room was spotless, great shower, comfortable bed. Lovely lounge with very tasty breakfast. Coffee, tea and cookies available around the clock. The team was very helpful in suggesting and making reservations for good restaurants in the area for dinners. We stayed for 5 days and loved it.

I loved coming back to the room each day with fresh towels and cleaned up room. The breakfast and coffee was also great!
I found that the location wasn’t as walkable to things we wanted to see. Had to take a lot of Ubers.

The building is very nice with a classy entrance
The lobby is cozy
You can have the choice between alcoholic drinks (to pay upon consumption) and non-alcoholic drinks (complimentary) during the day
They did not change the glasses in the room for the entire stay (3 nights)
I was expecting to get clean new water glasses every day

The location was great. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful and bed so comfortable. 24 hour coffee tea and water station. Free beverages in room mini bar. Very safe neighborhood.

Lovely hotel. Rooms at the back overlook the Roman Amphitheatre.
Our room was next to the elevator shaft…. noisy early morning to after midnight so if you are a light sleeper avoid the Superior Double rooms which are all located next to the elevator shaft on each floor.

Location was walking distance or metro distance to many sites in Paris. The room was beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds - showers and bath amenities were great. Nice touch with free drinks in our room.
The rooms are a little small and a bit challenging for luggage space.

The hotel staff were just incredible. From the minute I stepped foot into the hotel, I was greeted with warm, bright smiles and kindness. Nothing was too difficult, the service was simple impeccable. When the hotel manager, Salume found out it was my birthday she surprised me with a bottle of champagne delivered to the room. Bianc and Salume also researched and provided some great restaurant recommendations to celebrate my birthday, and given it was a public holiday and at short notice, it wasn't an easy feat. Nevertheless, they suggested a great restaurant in Le Marais, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you so much, team Hotel Monge. Vous etes vraiment geniale!
Also, the breakfast was a great spread every morning. And there was L'Occitane toiletries. The attention to detail was great.
Loved everything. The rooms are a bit tiny, but we didn't spend much time in there to be honest. I mean you're in Paris - you should be out and out soaking everything the gorgeous city has to offer
