Sometimes there was like a sewer odor in the bathroom. It wasn’t that bad, anyway it was like the first time to use the bathroom in the day. After the first flash it didn’t smell.

One of rooms don’t have air conditioning. Make sure to check when booking. Hotel facilities says air conditioning but in one of the room details it’s missing

My room smelled Cigarette. I am not sure someone smoked in it or if it was the bedding but it was not nice when you are a non smoker.

The hotel included a free cab ride from the airport but you have to be very careful about timing as our cab arrived when we were still on the plain and they will only wait about 1 hour, so we lost our free cab ride.

There seemed to be a cold draught blowing across the bed through the night, from some air con I couldn't really work out too well. But the main reason I'm not giving this a higher rating is simply this. When we got to our room we saw one or two men outside our bedroom window. This was on the 5th floor. They were working on some other room. It was a bit disconcerting to say the least. When I went to speak to someone about it, they were not at all apologetic about it. The manager (I think he was the manager) said in a very off-hand way something like "Well I can't ask them not to work can I?" Fairly rude. He only had to say "I'm really sorry about this", or something similar. It takes nothing to be polite and friendly. I found him a bit rude. When I asked whether the fact that there was works going on was on the website he said Yes. But I don't remember seeing it. He may be right, I may be wrong. But a little apology and understanding for a couple who have booked a holiday is not too much to ask. (When I asked whether there would be someone there on Saturday as well he said No. But there was...) Everything else was very good. The staff in the breakfast room were lovely. PS I can see, from the hotel response to this review, that they are telling a couple of untruths. I received no apology at all from the manager, so there was no way I could have ignored it. And I definitely didn't "insist the workers leave"! Absolutely not. In fact neither my wife nor I had a problem with the occasional figure passing our window. We're both really relaxed about these things. I just thought they could have been more friendly about the situation and not short and rude. Plus I was checking whether the presence of work going on might have been mentioned in the advert and in fact have given us a discount - something which is quite normal with hotels - and maybe I missed it. That's all I was asking.

Every other thing was bad, the food at the breakfast, etc

Our room had an adjoining door to another room that made us a bit nervous as there were occupants in it. Staff came and locked the doors from both sides eventually.

In the bedroom there were not sleepers and body cream

Didn’t seem to be enough staff at breakfast, although the breakfast was good value, ran out of everything quickly and it wasn’t replaced often - but when available the selection was good
