Proximity to Eiffel Tower..good selection breakfast, coffee could be better, seems i stant taste.
Mattress was terrible, cold rooms even if we started the heating at maximum , pillows bad , amenities for 300€ per night missing,

This hotel has a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. When the tower lights up at night and especially when it sparkles every hour, the view is nothing short of magical! It is walk-able to the tower and shops and restaurants. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. Our room was very clean and spacious for the two of us. We would definitely stay at this hotel if we come back to Paris in the future.
If you are coming from America, like us, be aware that they do not provide wash clothes in the bathroom. We have found this to be true in our travels to other countries as well. Just pop some in your luggage if you need any during your stay. Also the staff were always friendly and ready to assist us, however, I did call the front desk from our room a couple of times and they did not answer. I am sure they were probably just slammed and did not have the opportunity to pick you my calls but it was a little inconvenient to have to go talk to people face to face especially when we were on one of the higher floors.

Room was the upgrade with view of Eiffel Tower, robes and slippers, and mini bar. There was no mini bar. The fridge had a fizzy drink and water in it. Bedroom was run down with dirty stained carpet.

Cleaning staff got into our room and took a pair of brand sunglasses, you have to advise reception desk and place the do not clean card on the door, they do take their time to clean and look at all your unlock lauggage

Hotel location superb. Few blocks to the Eiffel Tower, 5minute walk to Train station. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Our room is a little bit pricey since we chose a room with an Eiffel Tower view. However, bed is comfortable and room is clean and tidy.
The location was amazing, but the room was quite small—just enough space for two suitcases.

better detail attention to the guest thus is a hospitality business unlike what ARBNB offer to its customer the staff needs to be more focused from th bell boys to the emplyees behind the counter , you cpul learn fromm the hotel chain Hoxton from England

Convenient location, 24hrs taxi available nearby, close to Eiffel tower and all plus affordable. Buffet is great too and the bar, resto in the hotel that are open late.

The room was comfortable and very spacious for Paris. The bathroom was neat and modern. The location of the room was excellent, almost opposite the Eiffel tower. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely go back if I am in Paris again.

Nothing, maybe location but doesnt justify staying here.
One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.
I am honestly unsure how this property maintains its rating. The hotel was not clean, poorly organized, and the overall service was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the experience went downhill.
Despite having a confirmed reservation, we were made to wait almost an hour at check-in because the staff “could not find our booking.” During this time, there was no apology, no sense of urgency, and no ownership of the issue. We were simply told it was “not their fault,” even though this was clearly a failure of their own system.
The staff throughout the hotel were consistently rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Simple requests were brushed off, and it felt as though employees were forced to be there rather than choosing to work in hospitality. Even getting assistance with luggage was a struggle.
We only stayed because the booking was non-refundable. We asked to leave immediately and eventually checked out on the 6th at 10 a.m. At that point, we requested a porter to help with our bags. We were staying on the 10th floor and had five bags. Despite asking multiple times, we were repeatedly told there was “no one available” to help. From room service to reception, no one made any effort to assist.
At some point, we genuinely began to wonder if the poor treatment was personal, because the lack of basic courtesy and service was shocking.
I would strongly discourage anyone from staying here. You would be far better off choosing an Airbnb or another hotel. This was a terrible experience from start to finish.
Mercure, please do better. Hire people who actually want to work in hospitality and understand what service means.
